PLAN YOUR HIKING ADVENTURE TRAILHEAD DIRECT!

Trailhead Direct is a pilot project sponsored by King County Parks and Metro’s Community Connections program. This project seeks to ease vehicle congestion, reduce safety hazards and expand access to hiking destinations along I-90. For the 2018 hiking season, and thanks to a service partnership with the Seattle Department of Transportation, Trailhead Direct is expanding by providing transit van service from South Seattle and Capitol Hill.

HOW TO PAYUpon boarding, pay your fare with exact change or a convenient regional ORCA card. Get your ORCA card online at www.orcacard.com, by phone at 1-888-988-6722 (ORCA) or Washington State Relay: 711 (1-888-889-6368); at ticket vending machines in Sounder and Link rail stations, or at one of the transit agency customer service offices. The ORCA website also provides information about how to use the card, as well as locations at which cards can be reloaded with a new pass or a cash E-purse.

While trail destinations may vary in accessibility, Trailhead Direct vehicles are wheelchair accessible. All are welcome.
