This direction employs the use of a hand-drawn sketch
feeling, with soft pastel colors, leaving the focus on the
content.

Link has almost no spoken dialogue in the game series outside the CD-i series of games from The Legend of Zelda. Facial expression has only been visible since the series appeared on the Nintendo 64. Miyamoto has said in interviews that his conceptualization of The Legend of Zelda, and of Link, was based on his childhood memories of books, movies, stories and personal experiences. He tried to make people identify with Link and have the opportunity to be heroes like the character. Although at the end of some games Link becomes vastly talented in physical and magical arts, he usu-ally starts off the game as a regular boy.

Inspiration
Typefaces
Inspired by the graphics in early Nintendo games, this
second concept will resemble the original Zelda games
rather than the subject matter of the games.

TriforceThe Triforce (トライフォース, Toraifōsu?) is a triangular sacred relic that represents the essences of the Golden Goddesses. It is made up of three smaller triangles known as the Triforce of Wisdom, Triforce of Power and Triforce of Courage. Each of these embody the essence of their respective goddess, and bestow certain boons on their bearers. In most of its appearances, the Triforce or its pieces manifest as a crest on the hands of their bearers. These crests resonate when near each other, and the Triforce pieces can emerge from their bearers.
