This List is not exhaustive of
all Programs used but covers
the set of programs used
beyond what a standard
business may use.
Microsoft Office suite is still
used which includes; Word,
Powerpoint, Outlooks, and
Excel.
Programs and Uses – Modeling/Generation
AutoCAD – Used to create 2D document
drawings for submission to the city, field, and
internal use
REVIT – Used to create BIM Drawings for
submission to the city, field, and internal use.
Ensure the year of the program matches the
year of the files received
NavisWorks – Used to more quickly
navigate at 3D models when looking for
potential clashes with other disciplines.
Visual/AGI – Used to calculate light levels in
areas with code required minimums and
averages. Files are then exported to CAD
format for use in CAD or Revit Drawings
Comcheck – Used to create Lighting counts and
take-offs for Energy Modeling
SKM – Used to create short circuit analysis,
Selective Circuit breaker calculations and Arc
flash calculations

Bluebeam – Used to review PDF drawings,
redline, and share Information internally
and externally
Snag-it – Used to take snapshots and video
of programs for explanatory use both
internally and externally
Egnyte Addin – Used to upload and send
pdfs and Drawing files to Egynte and send
externally or internally through outlook
Abacus – used to monitor printing quantity
when sent to any large format plotter and
assign prints to a project for billing
Jabber – Used to communicate internally
between departments via phone, Chat, or
screen share.
One-Drive/Note – Used to compile notes,
meeting minutes, and to-do lists along with
project projections in a location and format
viable by the entire team for easy
collaboration
Plan Grid – Used to upload files for the
field to use and review
