Scopul principal al programului de master Securitate rutieră, transport şi interacţiunea cu mediul este de a
asigura absolvenţilor cunoştinţele, deprinderile şi competenţele necesare unei cariere profesionale
în domeniul industriei auto şi al structurilor de cercetare-proiectare-dezvoltare din acelaşi
domeniu.
Prin structura sa, în cadrul programului de master sunt conturate următoarele două trasee
de specializare/cercetare:

Candidates for the MSc. program in Global Logistics must comply
with the following prerequisites:
Required is a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university or college in Germany or abroad and an excellent academic record. The required bachelor’s degree will usually be in business or economics. Other fields such as industrial engineering, business informatics or mathematics will be considered if your bachelor’s degree consists of a sufficient number (at least four) and a
variety of courses in the field of business administration or business economics.
A very good level of spoken and written English TOEFL (550/213/79) or IELTS (band 6.5) or equivalent
Strong academic abilities - usually proven by a rank in the top third of your university (for graduates of foreign degree programs)

GMAT/GRE
All applicants are required to take either the GRE General Test or the GMAT. For the GRE forms, use the institute code 3514; department code 5199. For

IELTS
Applicants from non-English-speaking nations must also offer evidence of written and oral proficiency in the English language by taking the International

Résumé
Relevant work experience weighs heavily in SCM admissions decisions. Therefore, we require every applicant to supply us with a current résumé. The
résumé should be in the standard format, including academic degree information with GPA information following each degree.

Recommendations
You must provide three recommendations from people capable of judging your professional and/or academic promise (i.e., supervisor, professor).
Because our admissions committee focuses on work experience, we urge applicants to provide two recommendations from job-related supervisors and one
from a professor.
Recommenders must complete an SCM-specific evaluation form that can be downloaded from the Graduate Admissions Website. If you apply online, your
recommenders also have the option of completing and submitting this form electronically. We do not want to receive a simple letter from them.
If your recommenders choose not to complete the form electronically, each recommendation should be sealed in its own envelope and submitted with your

Statement of Objectives
You will complete the statement of interest as part of your MIT Graduate Admission Form. The statement should describe why you are interested in the
SCM program, and how it fits into your future career plans. The statement should be no longer than 500 words.
Essay Questions
In addition to the statement of interest, SCM also requires two additional essays to be sent in with your transcripts and résumé. Each essay should be no
