We are grateful for support provided for this meeting by the Department of Psychology, the Institute
for Housing and Urban Research, and The Linnean Gardens at Uppsala University, as well as the
Swedish Research Council for Environment, Agricultural Sciences and Spatial Planning (Formas).
If you prefer to walk from Resecentrum: Just go towards Uppsala castle (orange/pink, up on the ridge) and then go
around it on either side. Behind the castle you will see the Baroque garden (one of the University’s botanical gardens),
the new university administration building Segerstedtshuset, and, beyond that, Blåsenhus in yellow brick.
If you prefer to take the bus:
Option 1) Go to bus stop E1 on the eastern side of the train tracks and wait for bus 11 (towards Gottsunda) which runs
about every 15 minutes in the morning and every 30 minutes during mid-day. Get off at bus stop Botaniska (by the
Baroque garden below the Castle).
Option 2) Walk to Stora torget and take either bus 2 (towards Håga/Eriksberg) or bus 7 (towards Gottsunda). Because
you can choose either one, the wait will hopefully be short. Get off at bus stop Blåsenhus.
If you prefer to drive: The address of Blåsenhus is Von Kraemers allé 1. Visitor parking is available on the south side of
the adjacent Campus 1477-building and further down at the back of Sveriges Geologiska Undersökning (access from Von
Kraemers allé), or by Evolutionsbiologiskt centrum (access from Norbyvägen). The parking lots at Blåsenhus and
Segerstedtshuset are mostly reserved for employees.
