Why ENT ENDOSCOPY ?
The diagnostic and surgical techniques are regularly moving towards the mini-‐invasive procedures. The endoscopy is the major technique in all the fields of the ENT speciality: Rhinosinusology, Otology, Neuro-‐otology, Anterior base of the skull, Laryngology, Voice disorders, salivary Glands, Facial Surgery and Traumatology, Pediatric endoscopy, Lacrimal surgery.
Scheduled every 2 years, the objective of this event is to answer to the questions of the physicians in their daily practice and to present the most recent techniques thanks to the french and international experts. The non-‐endoscopic procedures are also described to offer a complete information.
v SCIENTIFIC SESSIONS : diagnostic procedures, imagery, surgical indications and video procedures, pitfalls, management of the complications, materials, round tables, news, questions-‐answers.
v MOVIE CHALLENGE : movies about medical and surgical endoscopy, prepared and commented in live with their authors to offer an efficient and very practical information. The ‘best’ film will be designed at the end of the meeting after the vote of the participants.
v TECHNOLOGICAL SESSIONS : presentation with an expert of daily used endoscopic and non-‐endoscopic surgical materials and technological devices (monitoring, navigation …) : indications, peroperative pitfalls, interpretation, clinical cases.
v ENDOSCOPIC LIVE DISSECTION ON ANATOMIC MODELS : all the steps and pitfalls of the nasal and paranasal sinus dissection and of the sialendoscopy, revealed on an anatomic model. Video and audio retransmission in live with experts.
v CONTINUOUS ANATOMIC ENDOSCOPIC DISSECTION MOVIES : presentation during all the time of the meeting of movies about anatomic endoscopic dissection on cadavers in a laboratory of anatomy.
v POSTERS : presentation of endoscopic techniques in ENT and facial and neck surgery (indications, procedures, results, discussion)
