was established in the year 2010 at Bhubaneswar, Odisha,

India. IDAX is the brain child of Er. Deepak Kumar Mallick, a B.Tech(H) in Civil Engineering from IIT

Kharagpur and has a huge experience in the field of Consulting & Construction of Mega Infrastructure

Projects. He has worked in various prestigious companies such as Tata Consulting Engineers Ltd.

Deepak Kumar Mallick (Founder & CEO)

B.Tech (H), Civil Engineering – IIT Kharagpur

Mr. Deepak Kumar Mallick, the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of

GROUP a Gold Medallist in Mathematics and B.Tech (Hons.) in Civil Engineering from Indian Institute of

Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. He has huge experience in Detail Engineering, Project Report, Feasibility

Report, Tendering, Construction, Turnkey Projects, Contracting, Project Management, Quality Control,

Environmental Engineering, Public Health Engineering, Water Supply and Waste Water Engineering.

He was a part of IL&FS Water Ltd. team to execute the water supply system for Indian Oil Corporation

(IOCL) on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis. The project involves transportation of 100 MLD

water over a distance of about 93 Km from Mahanadi River at Cuttack to Paradip for the IOCL Paradip

Refinery Project. Prior to IL&FS he was working with TATA Consulting Engineers Ltd. (TCE). During his

association with TCE, the experience was mainly involved in assignments on infrastructure

development projects in India, funded by many international funding agencies like Japan Bank for

International Co-operation (JBIC), Japan International Co-operation Agency (JICA), Asian

Development Bank (ADB) and World Bank. He has worked in mega infrastructure projects like

Bangalore Water Supply and Sewerage Project Stage-IV, Phase-II (BWSSP-II) funded by JBIC/JICA

and Urban water Supply and Environmental Improvement Project, Madhya Pradesh (UWSEIP-MP)

funded by ADB.

Beyond his works, he has deep interest in Research & Development. He has attended numerous

research papers presented in international seminars. He has contributed two valuable technical papers

to TCE Journal “Water Demand and Supply Management for Bangalore City” and “Sewer

Rehabilitation / Replacement for RCC pipes with Internal Lining”.

Mr. Mallick has passion for infrastructure development and believes that quality infrastructure is the

Sub-Soil Exploration.

Geo-technical Investigation is primary requirement for Civil Engineering Structures. The planning of

structure and subsequent design and implementation is dependent on sound investigation of founding

strata. Another important aspect during construction is the quality of execution & post construction

maintenance. There are sufficient experienced personnel for supervising tests, data interpretation &

analysis. The company has also the expertise in the field of consultancy in rehabilitation of structures.

Necessary equipments and tools for evaluation of structures are available with the company. The

company has full fledged laboratories, besides this as per necessity & demand, field laboratories at

many sites are also under operation to conduct quality control tests. We have expertise in installation of

Piezometers and conducting Electric Resistivity Test (ERT) for Soil & Ground Water Table. Foundations

(Pile Foundation, open Excavation, Mat Foundation, etc.) design and recommendations are given for

various structures in types of projects.IDAX is having expertise in providing services for Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and interpreting the

data to assess the under ground utilities and soil profile without excavating the earth. We are also

Water Quality Analysis.

Analysing and monitoring various environmental parameters, third party hazardous audit, REIA/EMP, Operation of ETP and chemical testing of metal, minerals, water, waste water, industrial effluent, river pollution, hazardous and Non-hazardous waste, solid waste, etc. We do Ambient Air Quality (AAQ) Analysis for all types of industries.
