Theresa made her first quilt in 1988 and her first mystery quilt in 1998. Sharon Lorfing Sharon Lorfing has been quilting since 1993 and worked and taught at two local quilt shops from 1999 to 2008, including teaching at KQO in 2003. Sharon lives in Kansas City, KS with her husband. She has two grown sons in the Kansas City area, one married with three little girls whom she now babysits part-time while their mom is in nursing school. In her spare time she also loves to hand quilt.

In 2002 Sharon and Theresa started doing a Mystery Quilt Lock-in annually and started designing their own patterns for it. Theresa loves the designing process and does most of the design work while Sharon loves the math involved and writing up the pattern instructions.
