What does a standards based classroom, school, or district look like?

Each group will be given between 5-6 documents and completed templates as “artifacts” of alignment along with highlighters. In pairs, they will highlight “evidence” of alignment.

5 slide mini-lecture. This will help pull together and clarify the definition of alignment.

Student work, along with the standards, learning targets and a window into instruction will be provided for each group. They will highlight evidence of understanding in the work.

The Assessment Discussion Guide questions will provide the group good discussion material.

How can we use both formative and summative assessment data to improve instruction?

Assessment samples will be used for item analysis and GLE review.
