WHAT IS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT?

Professional Development, or PD, isthe advancement of skills or expertiseto succeed in a particular profession,especially through continuededucation.

Professional Development should be utilized to increase engagement and overalleffectiveness of staff to ultimately increasestudent achievement. Overall, PD should be:
