Information Communications Network LLC /ICNC/ was established in 2006 to operate the state owned national backbone network, to ensure secure and reliable operation and maintenance of the network and to provide interoperability and interconnection services to telecoms operators while playing a major role in the ongoing development of Mongolia’s infrastructure.
Information Communications Network LLC is a leading provider of broadband services for the carrier marketplace and owner of the largest open access fiber-optic network in Mongolia.
Currently, Information Communications Network LLC operates and maintains over 70 percent of the national fiber-optic network. We own and operate 9’446 manholes, 791’684.5 meters of ducts, which are routed across 17’421 kilometers, 21 provinces and 283 villages of Mongolia. We offer co-location services to mobile operators and telecoms service providers on our facilities and towers throughout Ulaanbaatar city, 21 provinces and 373 villages of Mongolia.
Team of 1470 highly qualified employees, engineers and technicians are our most valuable assets. We are cooperating with more than 230 public and private communication service providers.
Information Communications Network LLC is an active sector member of the International Telecommunications Union and the Asia Pacific Telecommunity.
Information Communications Network LLC is a member of the Asian Productivity Organization, the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Mongolian Human Resource Institute.

One of core operations of our company is fiber-optic transit service network, the shortest route connecting Asia and Europe. We are cooperating with leading telecommunications companies of China and Russia to ensure reliability, wide coverage and low latency of the network.
IT and telecom companies are interested in transmitting the information through the Mongolia transit network, as it is the shortest link with the lowest latency. This international transit network connects is routed via Mongolia, Russia, China and Kazakhstan and connects European cities such as Frankfurt, London, Helsinki with Asia to reach the internet exchange point in Hong-Kong.
INTERNET WHOLESALE SERVICEOur company offers reliable and secure wholesale internet service, imported from international exchange point to Internet service providers through our fiber optic network.

CO-LOCATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE, TOWER LEASING SERVICE Our strategically located co-location sites are spread out through Ulaanbaatar city and its districts, in province centers and villages, on our microwave stations throughout Mongolia. Co-locating physical hardware in one of our co-location centers and towers benefits telecoms service providers and mobile operators with direct connection and full control – without the cost and hassle of day-to-day of cooling, power, buildings, permits, suppliers, etc.

OUTSIDE PLANT SERVICEWe offer rental services of our OSPs and physical cable that fully meet technical requirements to 110 public and private service providers with the aim to fully utilize and optimize the cable infrastructure and consumption level.
There are 6’555 manholes and 527’238.5 meter ducts available for rent within 6 district, 7 stations in Ulaanbaatar. The rent and service agreements are approved by the branch in Ulaanbaatar city.

TECHNICAL COOPERATIONICNC is cooperating with more than 200 entities including telecom operators, public organizations and private businesses. Technical operation, maintenance of networks and facilities are outsourced on annuity contract. We back up our operation with 7/24 network monitoring and support.We offer outsourcing services to network infrastructure companies in the local areas based on our qualified staff with the aim provide opportunity for the company to increase their productivity and reduce their operational cost.
Outsourcing services: • Preventive technical check-up services subject to fixed time schedules and plans
(1-2 times a year) • Repair network deficiencies and failures upon subscriptions • Security watches over premises and sites in rural areas • Power supply readiness • Fuel and diesel supplies • Assets transfer and shifting
