In 2010 the Cordami Capasso, respecting the environment, creates a photovoltaic system on its own building capable of producing approximately 70,000 kWh per year, using the sun’s energy and reducing the emission of substances that have a polluting effect and those that contribute to the greenhouse effect.

Carmine Capasso, titolare della CORDAMI CAPASSO SRL, nel 1986 avvalendosi dell'esperienza maturata nelle aziende di famiglia che iniziarono la loro attività tessile agli inizi del 1900, con la lavorazione delle fibre naturali canapa juta sisal, nonostante la sua giovane età, decide di avviare una propria attività iniziando a produrre cordami e spaghi anche in fibre sintetiche quali: polipropilene, poliestere, nylon.L'utilizzo di moderne attrezzature e macchinari all'avanguardia, come le attuali cordatrici Sima a doppia e tripla torsione con controllo costante della tors ione, le nuove tracciatrici Etk a 12/16/24/32 fusi e i nuovi torcitoi monotesta della Roblon "Tornado" affiancati dai torcitoi a fusi della Galan, permettono in poco tempo alla CORDAMI CAPASSO di trasformare l'attività familiare tradizionale in attività industriale, presentandosi con le dovute credenziali di serieta' e laboriosità al lusinghiero giudizio della clientela ponendosi come azienda leader nel settore.L'innovazione, il rigoroso controllo della qualità, la ricerca continua di nuovi filati,quali Dyneema, Kevlar sono elementi base che garantiscono oggi la produzione di cavi, corde, trecce e spaghi di alta qualità.L'attività è rivolta maggiormente ai settori della nautica, pesca, agricoltura, industria, ma la CORDAMI CAPASSO, forte della sua esperienza tecnica consolidata negli anni, si pone l'obbiettivo di far fronte alle svariate richieste del mercato , realizzando prodotti unici, su richiesta.Nel 2009 l'azienda, trasferisce la sua sede operativa nel nuovo stabilimento situato nella zona industriale in Portico di Caserta, su una superficie di circa 4000 Mq di cui 2000 Mq coperti e grazie ad un pronto magazzino, è in grado di soddisfare in maniera celere qualsiasi richiesta.

In 2009 the company moved its headquarters to the new factory located in the industrial area in Portico di Caserta, an area of about 4000 square meters of which 2000 square meters are covered and thanks to a ready stock, can quickly meet any request.

Le corde sintetiche in fibra differiscono dalle corde in acciaio perché la caratteristica della resistenza/allungamento non è lineare ed è dipendente dalla variabile tempo.L’allungamento di una corda si compone di differenti componenti:- L’allungamento elastico è l’estensione che è immediatamente recuperabile dopo il rilascio del carico.- L’estensione viscosa è soltanto parzialmente recuperabile con tempo dopo il rilascio del carico.- L’estensione permanente non è recuperabile. Accadrà quando una corda è sottoposta ad un carico insolitamente alto.

EXTENSION AND ELASTICITYRope extension and elasticità are important characteristics because they wil determine rope behaviour in terms of peak loads and mooring excursions. Synthetic fibre ropes differ from steel because their load-extension characteristics are non-linear and time dependent. The overall extension of a rope is made up from several different components:- Elastic extension is the extension that is immediately recoverable upon the release of the load.- Visco-elastic extension is only recoverable with time after the release of the load.- Permanent extension is non-recoverable. It will occur when a new rope is subject to an unusually hight load.Continuos loading of some ropes can also lead to further permanent extension due to creep at the molecular level.

NYLON / NYLON

Il nylon è la prima fibra sintetica inventata. Grazie alla sua elasticità il nylon assorbe continui ed elevati carichi di lavoro. FIBRE ARAMIDICHE / ARAMID FIBERLe fibre aramidiche sono una classe di fibre sintetiche, con elevata resistenza alla trazione e al calore, ma scarsa resistenza agli agenti atmosferici; esse vengono utilizzate nelle applicazioni militari.

POLIESTERE / POLYESTER

Il Poliestere è una fibra molto resistente alla rottura e all’abrasione. Il poliestere non ha l’elasticità del nylon, ma ha una resistenza all’abrasione di molto superiore. Inoltre è disponibile con particolari finiture che la rendono maggiormente utilizzabile in particolari situazioni e che allungano la vita della fibra.

JUTA / JUTALa juta (detta anche iuta o corcoro) è una fibra tessile naturale ricavata dalle piante del genere Corchorus, inserito nella famiglia delle Malvaceae. Come per il lino e la canapa, la materia tessile per la produzione si ricava dal fusto della pianta. La juta è altamente igroscopica, di colore bianco, giallognolo o bruno ed è al 100% biodegradabile e riciclabile con riflessi lucenti e dorati e perciò chiamata la fibra d’oro. È la più economica fibra vegetale, procurata dalla fibra di tiglio o dalla scorza del fusto delle piante. Al mondo la migliore area produttiva per la iuta è considerata essere la pianura del Bengala (delta del Gange), regione compresa prevalentemente nel Bangladesh.

Jute (also known as corcoro) is a natural textile fiber derived from plants of the genus Corchorus, included in the family of Malvaceae. As for flax and hemp, textile production is obtained from the stem of the plant.Jute ishighly hygroscopic, 100% biodegradable and recyclable. Its color is white, yellow or brown with bright and golden reflections, and therefore called the golden fiber.It is the cheapest vegetable fiber, produced from lime fiber or from stem of the plants.The best area in the world for jute production is considered the plains of Bengal (Ganges delta), mainly in the region including Bangladesh.

CONSIGLI D’USO- Sciacquare le cime con acqua dolce ( non montate a bordo dell’imbarcazione) ogni due o tre mesi o almeno a fine stagione; ciò allunga la vita delle stesse e garantisce un miglior rendimento nell’utilizzo. - Tenere le cime lontano dalla portata dei bambini. - Non disperdere la cima nell’ambiente e soprattutto nell’ambiente marino e acquatico in genere. Al termine dell’utilizzo, si consiglia di eliminarla insieme ai rifiuti solidi e urbani. Non bruciare la cima nemmeno dopo l’uso. - Acquistare prodotti di qualità e seguire le regole di buon utilizzo delle cime allunga la loro durata, fa risparmiare l’utilizzatore finale e rispetta l’ambiente. - I nodi possono ridurre il carico di rottura fino al 50%, così come errati metodi di impiombatura o imprecise realizzazioni delle stesse. Il carico di lavoro non deve superare in nessun caso il 30% del carico di rottura indicato. Sotto carico, le cime non devono venire a contatto di superfici ruvide, ruggini o comunque taglienti, in quanto potrebbero verificarsi improvvise rotture e/o danni irreparabili alle stesse.
