In the 1970s, Jörg Schmidt-Reitwein became known for the artistry of his camera work among many signi�cant New German Cinema directors. When the Berlin Wall was erected, he was incarcerated when he attempted to bring his girlfriend from East- to West-Berlin. Today he lives on a secluded farm which becomes a source of inspiration and the balance between professional and personal happiness.
早在1970年代，赫尔佐格就以其特有的镜头语言在众多德国新电影导演中脱颖而出。当柏林墙被建起的时候，他因试图将女友从东德带到西德而受到了监禁。而现在，他隐居在一片农场上，也在这里找到了灵感的源泉，以及工作与生活上的平衡点。
