About the Instructor:John Pop is a senior consultant with University of Illinois Business Innovation Services. John brings over 25 yearsof management experience in a variety of industries including steel, metals, chemicals, services and plastics. Johnhas managed manufacturing facilities in Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Connecticut, California, and Mexico. Consulting for20 years in a number of industries including metals, coatings, railroads, food, education, service, chemicals, andplastics, John has experience in assisting companies with lean principles, conflict resolution, leadership skills, ISO14001, ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO/TS 16949, OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health & Safety Management System),ISO 17025, ISO 13485, SPC, environment, safety and health management, and risk management. John has leadorganizations to over 100 management system certifications. He is an RAB/QSA International Certified QualitySystems Auditor, ISO/TS 16949 Certified Supplier Auditor and Certified Six Sigma Black Belt. John is recognized asan "expert witness" and has testified in lawsuits involving Quality Management Systems.

John holds a BS from Purdue University, Metallurgy Technical Degree from Republic Institute and an MBA fromIndiana University. He is also the co-author of the book titled; Every Manager is a Training Manager.
