Why is managing production so difficult? Sometimes planning and production feels like a battle. The fire-fighting, the quick fixes, the expediting...Common issues include:

Long production lead-times Poor on-time delivery performance High WIP and FG inventory levels Clients often change their minds Vendors can be unreliable Persistent quality Issues

These chronic problems have NOT BEEN SOLVED by hiring the best talent, exerting maximum effort, or investing in the latest technology. They are symptoms of deeper issues - related to management methods, measurements and systems.

Two-day workshop on application of Theory of Constraints to Production Scheduling For On-Time Delivery

Production Management: The TOC Way is an interactive computer simulator-based training where techniques are practiced across a wide variety of real-world situations. Workshop Overview Participants will use interactive computer simulations, exercises, and discussions to develop an in-depth understanding of Drum-Buffer-Rope scheduling techniques. Training Objectives TOC concepts and principles applied to

production and operations management TOC solutionfor Operations: Drum-

Buffer-Rope (DBR) Deepening of TOC knowledge through

simulation, exercises and examples How to identify and deal with system

bottlenecks Translate the learnings into workable

Through this workshop, participants will gain a first hand insight into Theory of Constraints application to Production and Operations: Drum-Buffer-Rope (DBR). DBR is the TOC solution that was revealed in the best-selling book, The Goal.

Ira Gilani Lal
