Catalog Description:Solution procedure for oil wells and injection wells, nodal analysis as applied to gaswells, gravel - packed oil and gas wells and a standard perforated well, productionoptimization for artificial lift systems.
Course Objectives:This course is designed to give seniors in production optimization of oil and gas wells bynodal systems analysis.

Nodal analysis methodology
Data validation and knowing what data to request
Understand and apply multiphase tubing and pipe flow principlesEffect of stimulation and artificial lift on production
Overview of artificial lift methods
Modelling artificial lift using Nodal Analysis techniques
Simple methods to evaluate production benefit and economics
The course will be highly practical and will feature lots of practical exercises to ensure
that the class attendees can understand and communicate the key issues around well
productivity. As part of the class attendees will have hands on opportunities to use
Nodal Analysis software.
Most Nodal Analysis schools are highly theoretical (and boring!) this class will be
interesting, practical and results oriented.
