My concept for this open brief was to do something completely different to my usual style of work. I wanted to also focus on branding. I have created a new range of gardening products aimed at children, this range would be within the Homebase store.

Once I had my design and I was happy with it I adapted it to a range of products to sell within the shop for this range of childrens products.

A proposed idea was to create an instore section for the children where the parents would drop them of. The children would then be given little pots to plant their vegetable all of which would be done whilst the parents went shopping. The children would also be given a name badge and be made to wear the pinny.

Along with the actual packaging for the products for the children to buy, I also had to create things such as; the tags for the products of which hang, pinny for the staff and children to wear in the instore section, name badges and sign in sheet.

Another side to the idea is that the children can create and grow an interactive vegetable. The parents log them into the section off the Homebase website and then they can chose from vegetables to grow and are shown how they grow over the 3 months and also teach them how to look after the vegetables.
