Application:

Pump starter cabinet for water and/or foam liquid pumps

used for fixed fire suppression systems.

The pump starter cabinet is used for systems where main

and emergency power supply is required, typically water

mist total flooding for machinery space cat A and pump

room, in addition to water mist and sprinkler systems in ac-

commodation. Main and emergency power might also be

required for certain additional class requirements such as

local protection in accordance with DnC F-AMC notation.

Description:

The enclosures have been especially designed for use in demanding marine environments, and are

therefore ideal for the enclosure of electric, hydraulic and pneumatic control units. Cabinets are man-

ufactured in mild steel, polyester painted in grey color RAL 7035. The cabinet have bottom flange

knockouts. The cabinets are easy to assemble, and the wide range of sizes makes it easy to create

modules in many different sizes and shapes. The cabinet come with a mounting plate, as standard. The

door is fitted with a quarter-turn slotted fastener.

A compact starter, isolating transformer, 3 phase monitoring relay and PLC for signal distribution are

installed within the cabinet.

Optional features such as stand still heater control can be supplied. A display on the PLC will indicate

fault messages and running time.
