Output Power derating vs Input Voltage
Secured Energy Yield
1) MPPT range not depending on AC voltage:
MPPT voltage window not affected by AC Voltage fluctuation.
String design can be optimized to match peak inverter efficiency without affecting energy harvest at low irradiance and/or high temperature
2) Smooth high DC voltage derating
DC power is reduced linearly from 100% at 850Vdc to zero at 1000Vdc
No risk of shut-down or MPP locking at near-zero power under cold conditions

IEC 62109-2 requirements for Non-isolated inverter connected to Ungrounded Array:
1 - Riso (Isolation resistance):Preventive measure (before grid connection) of the insulation resistance to the earth of the PV generator. • Grid connection is only possible if Riso > 33 KOhm.
2 - GFI (ground fault interface):Real-time monitoring of earth leakage current (AC + DC component) equivalent to an advanced RCD. Two protections are needed:
a. Disconnect within 0,3s if the continuous residual current exceeds maximum 10 mA per kVA of rated continuous output power
b. Disconnect from the mains within the time specified if a sudden increase in the RMS residual current is detected exceeding the values listed in the table.
Continuous residual current max. Value
PVS-100 1A
PVS-120 1,2A
Residual current sudden change
Max. Time to inverter disconnection from the mains
30mA 0,3s
60mA 0,15s
150mA 0,04s
