Make sure the ECR option is checkedPress check mark after completing ECR Number will be created automatically,After you complete STEP 2, 3, 4
Select change TypeT level need to be approved by 4 ApproversProduction level - 8 ApproversSTEP 1: Create ECR Initial screen [CC31]CC31
Object TypeSTEP 3TYPE and STATUS automatically will come from the previous screenDO NOT click on Check Mark or Save, till you complete STEP 3 & 4,If you Save: SAP will assign ECR number and exit screen. To continue working on the same ECR you have to search for the same screen. It is convenient if you want to put all information later.Objects STEP 4STEP 2 Fill up the boxes: Date & Reason
Fill in Some ECR will require all 4 major fields:This is BOM exampleTask List (it is a ROUTING), Document (it is a DRAWING)Material (it is a PART NUMBER)STEP 3 Fill Up the Object Type Screen boxesOBJECT TYPES SCREEN

Create material master record: The process of maintaining manufacturing data requires information related to the materials that are used in manufacturing. You can do this by using document records. Create BOM: You create a BOM using the information contained in the material master record and the document record.Maintain work centers: After creating a BOM, you need to maintain the work centers that will be used in manufacturing. Create master recipe: The recipe for manufacturing a product is created using the information in the BOM and work center.Specify production version: After the recipe creation is completed, you need to specify the production version for manufacturing a product. To specify this production version you use information related to the BOM and recipe.
