Overview
Westell’s Twin Variable Gain AWS Full Band Tower Mounted Amplifier (TMA) is an ideal solution for optimizing LTE cell site performance by improving base station receiver sensitivity. With the AWC-TTMA-AWS-VG, operators will see fewer failed connection attempts, fewer context drops, expanded coverage area (critical for VoLTE), and increased uplink data throughput; all in a ultra-compact, highly-reliable, and cost-effective package that supports one full sector. To support all types of deployment environments, the gain of the AWC-TTMA-AWS-VG can be set in 1 dB increments from 3 dB to 13 dB using AISG 2.0.
