Product Executive
Mercedes-Benz Passenger Car Sales Department
Motor Distributors Limited, the exclusive importer and distributor of Mercedes-Benz in Ireland
wishes to recruit a Product Executive for the Passenger Car Sales Department.
As Product Executive you will report to the Product Planning Manager and work with the rest of
the product team in Mercedes-Benz Passenger Car division to construct the optimal product
offering for our market.
Due to our ambitious growth plans we are adding to our existing team and for the right candidate
this is an exciting time to join our passenger car team as we introduce the biggest product
offensive in the history of Mercedes-Benz over the next three years.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Support our PC product team to construct the optimal product offer for our market.
Monitor market developments, competitor activity and the performance of our MB models.
Develop excellent product knowledge answering queries from customers / Dealer network.
Provide accurate and timely reports on competitor activity and industry trends.
Work with Marketing Communications to translate technical detail to logical
communication.
Product guides / Dealer-link / Dealernet / Price lists / Product updates.
Product and JATO analysis / market and segment forecasts.
Operate all Mercedes-Benz product, production and ordering systems.
Attend and participate in all product / Dealer / customer events as necessary.
Various ad-hoc duties.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Knowledge of the Irish car market, particularly in the premium segment.
Excellent numeracy, written and oral communication skills.
Strong analytical capability, with a high degree of factual accuracy and attention to detail.
Strong customer and Dealer orientation.
Strong computer literacy including MS Office, and ability to learn MB specific systems.
Strong listening skills, creative problem solving skills.
Adaptable and flexible to changing technologies, processes and environments.
Able to work proactively when required, but also comfortable working in a team
environment.
