It is important to note that these
instructions are for guidance only.
Please refer to the full Installation
and Operating Guidelines when
specifying / installing the product.
Siting the product
The MagnaPro is designed to be
installed below ground level and
so the prevailing ground conditions
must be considered prior to locating
the unit. Where possible, installation
of a pumping station in a roadway
should be avoided due to the need for
periodic maintenance of the pump(s)
contained therein. If the location is
adjacent to a roadway, the installation
method should take into account the
imposed loads likely to be transmitted
to the tank by traffic etc.
The MagnaPro should be positioned in
a sump with sufficient dimensions to
allow for a concrete surround.
Inlet connection
The MagnaPro comes complete with
a 110mm rubber connector located
on the side of the tank that will accept
110mm uPVC soil waste pipe. The
waste pipe needs to be run with
sufficient gradient to allow the waste
to gravity drain into the unit and should
be pushed firmly into the 110mm
rubber connector so as to form a
watertight seal around the incoming
pipe.
NOTE Inlets can be positioned to your
requirements but must be specified at
time of order.
Discharge connection
The connection of the discharge line is
via the supplied compression adaptor.
This connector is designed to accept
black MDPE / HDPE pipework of
appropriate outer diameter.
Electrical connection
A qualified person in accordance with
the Institute Of Electrical Engineers
Regulations should connect the
unit to the appropriate mains supply
taking into account all the electrical
information provided.
IMPORTANT – All pump systems
must be used with an appropriate
motor rated protection device.
Maintenance
We recommend that the unit be
inspected every three months. The
inside of the MagnaPro should
be inspected to ensure the floats
are clean and free of any build up
of materials that may inhibit the
operation of the float switch. Also the
moving parts of the pump(s) should
be checked to ensure that they are
moving freely. Hose down the interior
of the tank if necessary to remove
any build up of solid materials and
the bottom of the tank should be
checked to make sure there is no
debris or materials that could enter
the pump(s) and cause irreparable
damage.
In addition we recommend that a
service agreement be taken out with
a technically qualified company.
Health & safety
As with all site work, the danger of
working with water and electricity
can pose a severe threat to
health if obvious and fundamental
precautions are not taken. Therefore
if you are in any doubt regarding the
installation, please contact us.
All site work must be undertaken by
qualified personnel only.
These notes are for guidance only
and it is for the installer to ensure
the installation is in accordance
with all structural and regulatory
requirements.

Siting the product
The MagnaGrand is designed to be
installed below ground level and so
the prevailing ground conditions must
be considered prior to locating the
unit. Where possible, installation of a
pumping station in a roadway should
be avoided due to the need for
periodic maintenance of the pump(s)
contained therein. If the location is
adjacent to a roadway, the installation
method should take into account
the imposed loads likely to be
transmitted to the tank by traffic etc.
The MagnaGrand should be
positioned in a sump with sufficient
dimensions to allow for a concrete
surround.
Inlet connection
The MagnaGrand comes complete
with a 110mm rubber connector
located on the side of the tank that
will accept 110mm uPVC soil waste
pipe. The waste pipe needs to be
run with sufficient gradient to allow
the waste to gravity drain into the
unit and should be pushed firmly into
the 110mm rubber connector so as
to form a watertight seal around the
incoming pipe.
NOTE Inlets can be positioned
to your requirements but must be
specified at time of order.

Siting the product
The AutoFlushCSL should be
positioned on a firm level surface,
resistant to condensation. The unit
must be located lower than the
outflow of the appliances served so as
to provide a gravity fall into the unit.
It is extremely important to site the
AutoFlushCSL with access in mind
in the event of maintenance being
required.
Inlet connections
The AutoFlushCSL comes as
standard complete with 1no. 32mm
rubber connector located on the lid
of the unit.
The rubber inlet connector is
designed to accept 32mm uPVC
waste pipe and should be pushed
approximately 40mm into the
connector which will then form a
watertight seal around the incoming
waste pipe.
NOTE – Inlets can be positioned
on the AutoFlushCSL to suit your
site requirements (details on inlet
positions must be supplied when
ordering).
Discharge connection
The discharge line must be
connected to the AutoFlushCSL
via the tank connector on the side
of the unit. The tank connector will
accept 32mm uPVC waste pipe. All
joins in the discharge line must be
made with solvent cement, under
no circumstances should push fit or
compression fittings be used.
The AutoFlushCSL is designed for
one lift only and the vertical lift should
be within 500mm of the unit.
IMPORTANT – It is recommended
that there are no bends in the vertical
lift, however if this is unavoidable a
minimum of slow radius bends may
be used.
Electrical connection
A qualified person in accordance with
the Institute Of Electrical Engineers
Regulations should connect the
unit to the appropriate mains supply
taking into account all the electrical
information provided.
IMPORTANT – All pump systems
must be used with an appropriate
motor rated protection device.
Maintenance
The AutoFlushCSL requires minimal
maintenance. Basic common
sense and good housekeeping
will ensure the best results. It is
recommended that the unit be
rinsed through with warm water and
a minimum of bleach and washing
up liquid added (approx. every 1–2
weeks). This should stop any milk
residue and other fatty deposits
being allowed to accumulate, go
rancid and produce bad odours.
Once or twice yearly it is
recommended that the unit be
inspected. The lid should be removed
and the tank and float cleaned.
Health & safety
As with all site work, the danger of
working with water and electricity
can pose a severe threat to
health if obvious and fundamental
precautions are not taken. Therefore
if you are in any doubt regarding
the installation, please contact us.
All site work must be undertaken by
qualified personnel only.

It is important to note that these
instructions are for guidance only.
Please refer to the full Installation
and Operating Guidelines when
specifying / installing the product.
Siting the product
The SuperFlush has been designed
to be installed without the need for
a cistern and as long as the unit is
connected directly to a cold water
supply it can be located anywhere.
It is recommended that the unit be
placed onto a firm level surface,
resistant to condensation and fixed to
the floor using 3" No.12 Brass screws.
Discharge connection
The SuperFlush can discharge to
either the left or the right hand side of
the unit, this is achieved by loosening
the jubilee clip on the PVC elbow to
the rear of the unit and positioning it
appropriately. Once the direction of
the discharge line is in position the
soft plastic tube should be fixed into
position over the PVC elbow and
secured into place using a jubilee clip.
The discharge pipework must be
32mm uPVC waste pipe and all
joins should be made using solvent
cement, under no circumstances
should push fit or compression
fittings be used.
The SuperFlush is designed for one
vertical lift only and this lift should
be within 500mm of the unit. It is
advised that when pumping vertically
an appropriate non-return valve
(not supplied) is installed to prevent
backflow into the unit.
IMPORTANT – It is recommended
that there are no bends in the vertical
lift, however if this is unavoidable a
minimum of slow radius bends may
be used.
Electrical connection
A qualified person in accordance with
the Institute Of Electrical Engineers
Regulations should connect the
unit to the appropriate mains supply
taking into account all the electrical
information provided.
IMPORTANT – All pump systems
must be used with an appropriate
motor rated protection device.
Maintenance
It is recommended that the
SuperFlush be flushed through every
two weeks using standard domestic
bleaches, WC cleansers, etc.
IMPORTANT – The following items
must not be disposed of into the
SuperFlush:
• CottonWoolBuds,
• BabyWipes,
• Anyhardobjects,i.e.wood,

RAINWATER HARVESTING SYSTEMS58
WATERGUARD ™
The Waterguard is a fully automatic
rainwater harvesting system used
for the collection and supply of
rainwater within both domestic and
commercial applications.
The system is suitable for installing either at the
initial building stage or retro fitting to existing
buildings. It is designed to accept rainwater from
downpipes, which is then filtered into a collection
tank ready to be used within buildings to serve
all non-potable water appliances (WC, washing
machine, outdoor tap).
The system consists of a GRP tank with
locking access cover, connections for
all connecting pipework, submersible
pump, internal & external filters,
sensors and control panel.
This system not only offers you
unrestricted use of your outdoor tap
but also saves you money through
reduced mains water consumption.

Waterguard 6000 (Direct & gravity)
6000 litres storage capacity.
gRAvITy SySTEM
The gravity system is installed using an additional header tank that supplies
filtered rainwater to the relevant appliance via gravity. The main advantage of
this system is in the event of a power failure the appliances are still served.
DIRECT SySTEM
The direct system is used where it is not possible to install an additional header
tank and therefore filtered rainwater is pumped direct from the holding tank to
the various appliances. The main advantage of this system is that rainwater is
delivered to the appliances at mains pressure (3.5 bar).

Siting the product
The BioDose should be located
on a wall next to the main sink or
separating system. It is important that
the BioDose is positioned above the
appliance to be served and no more
than 5m away.
Connection to drainage system
The BioDose should be connected to
the drainage system using the fittings
provided with the unit. The BioDose
should inject the grease digesting
enzyme into the pipeline within
1000mm of the waste pipe entering
the fat trap to ensure the best
possible distribution of the enzyme
into the unit.
An 8mm hole must be drilled into
the top of the waste pipe after the
u-bend of the appliance served to
which the provided saddle clamp
should be fitted ensuring the drilled
8mm hole is in the centre. Once the
saddle clamp is in place screw the
hosetail fitting onto the saddle clamp.
Finally cut the 9.5mm tubing to length
ensuring the line from the BioDose
is as straight as possible but not
too tight and fix into place over the
hosetail on the saddle clamp and
onto the discharge line of the pump.
Changing the enzyme
To change the 5 litre container of
BioFax enzyme you must remove
the 9.5mm tubing from the container
located within the steel enclosure
and lift the empty container out.
Now unscrew the lid and the plastic
down pipe from the container and
screw into position on the new
5 litre container. Now place the
container back into position within the
enclosure and push the 9.5mm tubing
through the lid until it reaches the
bottom of the bottle. Prime the pump
using the button on the front of the
pump and then close the enclosure.
