The UniBinder 8.2 not only binds and cools the documents. After the binding cycle, the document is put into a slot where the spine will be automatically crimped until it matches the size of the document perfectly. The crimping element can crimp documents up to 340 pages.

The new UniCover System offers several benefits: thanks to the crimping, fewer spine sizes are needed. All sizes from 1 till 340 pages are replaced by only 6 spine sizes. Binding many different types of document styles is possible thanks to the flexible cover range. To improve the overall aesthetics and choice, the cover types are available in 10 standard metallic colors.

The cover closes perfectly around the document. The crimping makes the spine fit better around the document and creates optical perfection. Extra binding strength is guaranteed: the crimping movement pushes the pages down and moves the sheets inside the melted resin.
