3 M2000 - SICOMP M/R Emulation

M2000 emulates your entire SICOMP system on an open Windows platform. With the one-to-one emulation of the SICOMP hardware command set and level structure of the SICOMP computer, M2000 maps your SICOMP applications onto the command set of the Intel Pentium processors. This enables you to run your SICOMP software system very efficiently and without limitations on a Windows server or a Windows workstation. An abrupt and costly change to a new process control system and the development of new control application software is therefore no longer necessary as M2000 enables you to adapt your process control system to the Windows world step-by-step. Adopting this approach, you save on high development costs, downtimes due to commissioning and test runs, and you avoid new, unstable operating sequences in your installation.

4 Terminal Emulations

The TE2000 terminal emulation emulates the Siemens DS075, ZBE 3974R/MT video display terminals. The TE2000 terminal emulation has the following characteristics:

• TE2000 is a Windows application. • TE2000 runs on the Microsoft Windows platform. • TE2000 is connected to SICOMP R/M systems by means of serial or LAN connections,

replacing the DS075, ZBE 3974R/MT video display terminals.

5 COROS LS-C ME

COROS LS-C ME migrates your complete COROS LS-C operator control and monitoring system - including all configuration data - into the open Windows platform. This means that you can now run your familiar COROS-LS-C installation on a Windows server or a Windows workstation and need not invest into an abrupt and expensive switch to a new SCADA platform.

6 TELEPERM Emulation / Migration Products

IPKS offers a variety of tools and services for the modernization of TELEPERM M / ME systems and the migration of OS / IS (OS265, MADAM S, ..) systems to an up-to-date process control system.


TP-M2000 TELEPERM Emulation OS / IS systems After system migration using the SICOMP Emulator M2000, the software of the OS and IS systems runs on a modern nonproprietary computer platform in exactly the same way as before. Application software, such as MADAM S, NORA, FRANZ, MELD, KURV, ... , and the ORG software of the existing OS and IS systems are continued and can be used without changes

TP-CS-GW CS275 Gateway The 'transparent' gateway converts the entire data traffic of the CS275 bus system to the TCP / IP standard without the least delay (send and receive). And for the gateway it is irrelevant what type of TELEPERM M / ME automation system is connected to the system bus. The CS275 gateway is a rugged industrial-type black box with the following integrated features:

• N-PCI local bus interface module for the communication with the CS275 system bus.

• 1 Gbit Ethernet-LAN interface for the connection to the master computers.

• Diagnostic and statistic functions • Embedded Windows operating system

TP-CS-7GW

CS275 SIMATIC S7 Gateway The gateway converts the data traffic of the CS275 bus system to the TCP / IP standard (send and receive). And for the gateway it is irrelevant what type of TELEPERM M / ME automation system is connected to the system bus. The CS275-SIMATC S7 gateway is a rugged industrial-type black box with the following integrated features:

• N-PCI local bus interface module for the communication with the CS275 system bus

TP-DS78 DS078 Terminal The TE2078 terminal emulation communicates with the original OS system via a serial connection, or with an OS265 system running under the M2000 emulator via the local area network (LAN).

The TEVDU2000 terminal emulation developed by IPKS replaces the VDU2000 workstations of the TELEPERM process control level. The terminal emulation runs on standard computers based on Windows operating systems.

FUBI Generator Function diagram / step sequence generator. Reverse documentation of the operational sequences in the automation systems. Basis for the reverse documentation are the structure data of the automation systems (BEK, ZEK, etc.).

TP-PLTE1 PLT-E1 keyboard The keyboard emulation replaces the function keyboard of the TELEPERM process control level. The terminal emulation runs on standard computers based on Windows operating systems.

TP-FD Floppy Disk Replacement The TELEPERM floppy disk is emulated by means of new interface with USB data medium.



7 Printer Replacement

Print data is collected via different interfaces and archived in a central database (server) and can be visualized on any number of connected client computers. Print data normally output to “real” printers can be transmitted to virtual printers.


PLC-PR Printer Replacement With our Printer Replacement solution we open the process control level for output data on serial printers.

Print output data from the systems of the process control level will be collected and archived in a central data base on "virtual printers".

8 PDC Server

The PDC Server acquires process data such as analog signals (curve values) and messages via different interfaces and stores this information in cyclic archives (Microsoft SQL Server tables). Based on standard access methods for Microsoft SQL Server, a LAN connection (TCP/IP) can be used to access these tables. Using a standard browser (such as Internet Explorer), PDC Server gives you the possibility to view and acknowledge messages (incoming, outgoing, acknowledged) and display curves in curve windows. The server's User Administration allows you to define access rights for individual users and monitor user access. Messages and curves can be archived using standard backup equipment (DVD, central backup server). Process data can be easily exported and integrated in other systems (e.g., export to Excel tables).


PDC PDC Server The PDC Server can be integrated in process control level with operating and information systems and capable of replacing functions presently provided by these systems.

PDC-TP PDC Server (TELEPERM) The PDC Server can be integrated in the TELEPERM M / ME process control level with the OS (265, ...) and IS (MADAM S) systems and capable of replacing functions presently provided by these systems. The existing process control system remains unchanged.
