Standards are available in hot-dip galvanized steeltubing, dia. 48.3 x 3.2 mm, and aluminium tubing,dia. 48.3 x 4.0 mm, with rosettes at every 50 cm for amaximum of eight connections.Four small openings in the rosette determineright-angled connections, four larger openings
permit connections at any angles.
When used as suspended scaffolding or whenmoved with a crane, only the Steel standardswithout spigot, Ref. No. 2604, in conjunction withthe Spigot, Ref. No. 2605.000, or Aluminiumstandard with bolted spigot, Ref. No. 3208, maybe used.To interconnect the individual suspendedscaffolding standards, either Hinged pins,Ref. No. 4905.555, or Special bolts M 12 x 60with nut, Ref. No. 4905.060, may be used.However the spigots should always be boltedin the standard with the special bolts.
The Rosette, clampable, Ref. No. 2602, can beconnected to any point on the vertical standard tightening torque 50 Nm and allows up to six led-gers or diagonal braces to be connected to it. Thispermits flexible solutions between the rosettes even
when connected to SpeedyScaf. Loading tableavailable on request.
The Collar, Ref. No. 2602.000, with rosetteand the height-adjustable base plate form thescaffolding base. The vertical standard is placedinto the initial section for further construction.
The Tower collar, Ref. No. 2660.000, is onlyrequired with aluminium Allround standards andfacilitates correct securing of the castors with locksagainst falling out on Allround rolling towers.

To adjust to the ground, choose between differentheight-adjustable Base plates with sturdy andself-cleaning round threads, with colour and notchmarkings to provide protection against overwinding.Make sure that there are sufficient load-distribu-ting surfaces. For all inclined erection surfaces, e.g.
in combustion chambers or ship hulls, Swivelling base plates 60, reinforced are used.
The round threads of all Layher scaffolding spindleshave an outside diameter of 38 mm and a pitch of8.1 mm. The wing external dimension of the spindlenut is 205 mm. The dimensions of the foot plate are150 x 150 mm.

The Spindle fixture with wedge head serves to
secure the base plate and the collar against fallingout when moving scaffolding with a crane.
The Head jack accommodates wood sectionsor steel beams and serves to adjust height andintroduce loads. The solid head jacks and baseplates can be recognized by the hexagonal openingprovided in them.
The Swivelling top spindle can be used toinstall supports (e.g. wood sections) with aninclination of up to max. 5% to the horizontal in thelongitudinal and transversal directions,
thus eliminating the need to level with a wedge.Greater loads can be supported thanks to thearticulated mounting of the top plate and theresulting centric introduction of vertical forces intothe spindles.
The Cross head jack 60, solid serves toaccommodate wood sections, glued binders or steelbeams in falsework and supporting scaffolding.It stabilizes the supports against tilting, and it ispossible to use one or two formwork supports.Height adjustment is performed using the spindle
nut. The cross head jack is suitable for all commonformwork supports.

The Rosette with thread, clampablecan be attached to the thread of theLayher base plate or head jack. Thisrosette can be used, when thespindle nut is undone, for bracing inthe longitudinal, transverse anddiagonal directions. Up to six
connections are possible.

An extremely high load-bearing capacity isachieved by combining four Allround standards.Specially developed top and bottom parts, andheavy-duty spindles fitted into the latter, permit amultiplication of the individual load capacities ofeach standard.
A support of this type can be usedas a single support (15 t),as a double support (30 t)or as a tower (60 t).
These individual elements can then be expanded,with the aid of further Allround standard elements,into any spatial structures required.

Depending on the scaffolding bay length, decktype and load, Ledgers made of steel oraluminium are available in cylindrical tube,U-section and reinforcement sections for higherloads. The ledgers are deck beams, bracingelements and guardrails.
The wedge lock connection ensures positive andnon-positive connection with central loadintroduction between vertical standards andledgers. Safety is already assured in the assemblystate because the wedge lock already preventsunintentional disengagement when the wedge isloosely inserted. Longitudinal ledgers can beomitted at deck level if the decks are securedagainst lifting off by a lift-off preventer.

The O-support ledger is used to providetrip-proof decking surfaces with boards. For use ofscaffolding boards see DIN 4420.Accesses with O-decks can also be provided.
The U-ledger 0.73 m, 15 44, WS 19 permitslow angles in large circular scaffolding structures.
The three-part side protection in the scaffoldingbay and at the ends of the scaffolding is completedwith Toe boards. The fitting is positioned
between vertical standard and wedge.
The O/U-steel toe board reduces the fire risk.The offset fittings permit a gap-free transition fromthe deck to the toe board. It features high stiffnessand is easy to stack.
The O/U-toe board, aluminium is thelightweight alternative and can also be used inthe case of special fire protection requirements.
The three-part side protection comprises
Toe board, Ledger as intermediate rail(knee rail) and Ledger as hand rail.

Diagonal bracing
The Diagonal braces with wedge brace thebasic system together thanks to their highconnection values, also facilitate specialstructures.
The O-ledger, horizontal-diagonal, steel with wedgeheads serves to brace hori-zontal levels in scaffoldingwithout standard decks orin scaffolding with boarddecking.

Scaffolding decks, hatch-type access decks
Our scaffolding decks comply with therequirements of DIN EN 12811.
In the Layher system, depending on the type ofapplication and scaffolding group but also inaccordance with your working requirements and
priorities, choose from decks made of hot-dipgalvanized steel, aluminium, wood or an aluminiumframe with plywood board. The load-bearingcapacity of the overall system must be observed.All the decks in conjunction with the lift-offpreventer additionally brace the scaffolding in thehorizontal direction. Longitudinal ledgers andhorizontal diagonal plan braces can be omitted atdeck level. The claws of the Layher scaffolding decksslide easily during assembly into the U-/O-sections ofthe transverse ledgers, ensuring unbeatable speedof assembly. Decks with round ledger supports areespecially suitable for abrasive-blasting work inorder to avoid blasting residue deposits.
When scaffolding boards are used, longitudinalledgers are required at deck level, as are horizontaldiagonal plan braces in accordance with structuralstrength requirements. The O-support ledger,Ref. No. 2615, is used for scaffolding board jointswhich are not covered.
All decks are approved for use in brick guards(Class D according to DIN EN 12810-1).The U-FIPRO deckpermits, thanks to its lowweight, faster assembly and dismantling plus easier
transport. The non-slip surface and high stiffnessensure a sure footing. Approved up to load class 3,also for use in brick guards. Resistant to UV, ageingand weather effects, and impervious to the chemicalsusually found on construction sites. Easy to clean.
Due to recesses in the webs, the optimized Steeldeck T4 offers not only savings on weight but alsoadditional possibilities for use in conjunction with33.7 m steel tubes (see top picture). Due to theoptimized cap of the Steel deck T4, precision-fitdecking above the rosette is possible (bottom picture).

Widening of scaffoldingcan be easily performedby fitting Brackets inthe rosette on thestandard. System decksin brackets must be
secured against liftingoff with the Lift-offpreventer, Ref. No. 2634.
Widened scaffolding can also be constructedwith ledgers or U-transverse ledgers, collars anddiagonal braces in any projection depending onthe working load. Structural strength verificationis required here for each individual case.

In line with local regulations or as the result of arisk analysis performed by the scaffolding erector,personal safety apparatus (PSA), an assembly guar-drail or a combination of the two may be necessaryfor assembly, modification ordismantling of the scaffolding.
The Layher assembly guardrail consists of twobasic components assembly post and telescopingguardrail. The assembly post a) or b) must be useddepending on local regulations.
The assembly post T5 and the assemblyguardrail 1.57/2.07, aluminium and assembly
guardrail 2.57/3.07, aluminium, are used fortemporary protection against falls during assemblyof scaffolding parts on the uppermost, unsecuredscaffolding level.
According to German regulations BGV C22 relatingto construction work, a fall protection system mustbe provided for work areas and walkways on roofswhere the height of the fall is more than 3.0 m.The flat roof guardrail meets these requirements for
