IHB ELECTRIC a joint stock company is the biggest manufacturer of rotating electrical machines in Bulgaria with more than sixty years of experience in their manufacturing. Our production is well known in all countries of CIS and East Europe, as well in many West European countries, Asia, Africa and Latin America. IHB ELECTRIC manufactures and sells a wide range of electric machines such as:

Еlectric motors series production• Low voltage asynchronous electric motors with squirrel cage rotor for common industrial use, series M, MO, MOM and A, as per the requirements of the IEC, DIN and CENELEC, with degree of pro-tection IP 23, IP 44, IP 54 and IP 55, from 2 to 8 poles, power outputs from 11 up to 315 kW, for rated voltage 380 V, 50 Hz, with shaft height from 160 up to 355 mm. Different types of enclosures are possible as well as other rated voltage. The newest AD series electric motors are tested and certified with CE, signed by TUV-Rheinland.• High voltage asynchronous electric motors with squirrel cage rotor for rated voltage 3 kV and 6 kV, series A, in accordance to IEC and DIN, wit degree of protection IP 23, from 2 up to 8 poles, power output from 200 kW up to 000 kW and shaft height from 355 up to 450 mm.

Electric motors designed according to individual customer’s requirements

• High voltage asynchronous electric motors with quirrel cage rotor for rated voltage up to 13.8 kV, designed for special condi-tions of operation for driving of water pumps in Nuclear Power Plants, blowers and belt conveyors in Thermal Power Plants and mines pow-er output from 200 kW up to 10000 kW.• High voltage asynchronous slip ring electric motors for rated voltage up to 10 kV, power output from 50 kW up to 5000 kW.• Synchronous electric motors for driving of mills, compressors, water pumps, etc., rated voltage up to 10 kV, power output up to 10000 kW.

StandardsOur electric motors meet the requirements of the latest editions of the following standards:IEC 60034-1 Rotating electrical machines - Part 1: Rating and performance.IEC 60034-2-1 Rotating electrical machines - Part 2-1: Standard methods for determining losses and efficiency from tests (excluding machines for traction vehicles).IEC 60034-5 Rotating electrical machines - Part 5: Degrees of protection provided by the integral design of rotating electrical machines (IP code) - classification.IEC 60034-6 Rotating electrical machines - Part 6: Methods of cooling (IC code).IEC 60034-7 Rotating electrical machines - Part 7: Classification of types of enclosures and mounting arrangements (IM code).IEC 60034-8 Rotating electrical machines - Part 8: Terminal markings and direction of rotation.IEC 60034-9 Rotating electrical machines - Part 9: Noise limits.IEC 60034-11-1 Rotating electrical machines - Part 11-1: Thermal protection.IEC 60034-12 Rotating electrical machines - Part 12: Starting performance of single-speed three-phase cage induction motors.IEC 60034-14 Rotating electrical machines - Part 14: Mechanical vibration of certain machines - Limits of vibration.IEC 60034-18 Rotating electrical machines - Part 18: Functional evaluation of insulation systems.IEC 60034-30 Rotating electrical machines - Part 30: Efficiency classes for single-speed three-phase cage induction motors (IE code).

Tests

Testing of our electric motors is secured by our own laboratories, which are equipped with test equipment and apparatus, allowing us to undertake electrical and mechanical testing of the electric motors in accordance with the requirements of IEC 60034.Motors from IHB ELECTRIC correspond with IEC 60034-30:20 and reach requested values of efficiency as per efficiency IE1 class (for series M, MO and MOM) and IE2 class for series AD. IHB ELECTRIC is actively involved in the idea of protection of natural resources and we offer for our clients special manufactured motors from AD+ series from category IE3. Although according to the standard IE3 class to be produced after January 1 2015.

Energy efficiency

The energy efficiency value is the crucial benchmark of the electric motor. The higher the value is, the more benefits get the user.

HOW WE ACHIEVE HIGH ENERGY EFFICIENCY?By magnetic losses reduction:A significant part of the losses in the electrical motors are magnetic losses. This is why we reduce them by using better electrotechnical steel and by this we reduce losses in no load mode. In our company policy has set the rule for using materials of highest quality from veri-fied international suppliers.Reducing electrical losses:We achieve this by using hi-tech insulation systems, which allow re-ducing insulation thickness and increasing the copper in the motor slots. A milestone is using the Global VPI insulation system, which guarantees extended operation and reliability of the electric motor.By reducing mechanical losses:We have developed and use special fans, which reduce mechanical losses. In our efforts to reduce them further, we implement only the bearings from reputable manufacturers with proven effect.

WHAT DO YOU BENEFIT BY BYING IE3 CLASS MOTORS?Lower energy costs:Through increased energy efficiency our motors consume less amount of electricity compared to other classes and you pay less for it.Lower noise levels:Noise at work issues were significantly reduced in the motors class IE3 due to the fans and bearings we use.

The factory which is the manufacturer recommends lubrication of the bearing units to be performed by lithium grease for operation at -0ºC ÷ +10 ºC, viscosity of 91 mm/s and consistency according

NLG-. In the process of manufacturing is used grease “Litol ”, in compliance to GOST 110-7. Replacement of the grease at normal operation conditions should be performed after 000 hours of operation, but not less than once in a year. If the motors are operating in dusty or moisture conditions, replacement of the grease should be done more often, according the operation conditions. The cells of the bearings’ caps should be fulfilled with grease up to 50% of its capacity.
