PRODUCT INDUSTRIALIZATION
The heart of the technological process of our company is the Product Industrialization Team. Its activity begins even before receipt of the customer’s order through our collaboration with the customer’s designers whom we advise regarding the appropriate characteristics of the gear teeth or surfaces of their transmission components.
Updated calculation methods for teeth, dedicated calculation programs for each machining process with the removal of metal shavings and an advanced CAD system allow us to provide manufacturers with all the operative instructions necessary to meet the customer’s required technical specifications.
Only a profound knowledge of the productive process allows it to be efficiently optimized both in terms of quality as well as economics.
The choice of the optimal production cycle, the design of the part holding equipment and the definition of the tools and their cutting edges are the activities which most greatly characterize this function.

QUALITY CONTROL
Since 1999 our Quality System has been certified by TUV which, on April 3, 2008, confirmed its validity by certifying the “Manufacture according to customer specification of gears, high precision mechanical components and related heat treatments (EA17)” according to the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 standards.
CIMA certifies compliance with the requested specifications of all manufactured components by checking each single processing phase via size checks done by the technicians themselves during manufacture.
According to the customer’s request, CIMA is able to supply:
Chemical and physical state of the materials Hardness checksTopography of lead and involute Non-destructive magnetic particle checksGrinding burn checks (Nital Attack and
Barkausen electronic instrument)Profile and surface roughness chartsComplete size ratio with 3D Zeiss inspection

OUR OFFER: THE CIMA GEARBOXES
In 2001 we created the first product with the CIMA S.p.A. trademark; a gearbox for GT automobiles which has already given great satisfaction to drivers of many cars.
The design and manufacture of the modular gearbox allows the development and creation of new products by modifying the minimum of constituent parts. A semi-professional racing version, straight cut and dog engagement is also available on request. We can supply either H pattern or sequential, depending on your requirements.CIMA value the reliability of this gearbox as one of its most important qualities.
