Process for submission of courses and learning material on SWAYAM

Stage I: Submission of proposal

Ÿ Complete the proposal template provided and submit to the British Council

Stage 4: Incorporation of recommendations

Ÿ UK institutions incorporate recommendations into their proposal. The British Council will resubmit the proposal on their behalf.

Stage 2: Preliminary review of the proposal

Ÿ The British Council will review the proposal and seek more details if required so that the proposal meets the requirements of the Indian Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD).

Stage 3: Review by MHRD expert committee

Ÿ MHRD expert committee will review the proposal and may accept as is or provide recommendations for any required changes.MHRD

Stage 5: Uploading of course

Ÿ Upon final approval by the MHRD expert review committee, the UK institution will be provided with access to upload the course to the SWAYAM platform so that students can access it.
