Guideline #1 Be on your assigned seat and working on the bell work /warm- up when the tardy bell rings.

Zone”. That means that there will be no whining, for ANY reason.

Everything that I do is in your best

interest, so please respect the “No Whining Zone” this year!

Severe clause Any student who uses

profanity, fights, damages school property( this include the property of the teacher and other students), or is disrespectful ( as defined by the teacher) will be sent to the office IMMEDIATELY!

When you are tardy… Enter quietly. Place the tardy slip in the

basket . Have a seat and take out

your materials.

Getting your attention I will ………. Stand up in front of the class.

Raise my hand. And /Or count to five Wait for everyone to be quiet.

Begin speaking.

Homework Completing your homework assignment is your responsibly as a student. You have 3 days to make up any assignment class work or homework if you have an excused absence. After three days your grade will be dropped by one

letter grade every day. After 7 days it will turn to a zero with no

possibility to make up. An unexcused absence automatically will drop your

grade of one letter grade.

Finish classwork early? what do I do next? You cannot work on any other class

assignment in my class I will always have something for you to work on.

assignment Read your “ choice “ book. Review your vocabulary words. Start working on tonight

homework.

To get my attention If you want to talk to me in private, I

will be at the door when you come in. I will schedule a meeting with you if necessary.

In class, quietly raise your hand to get my attention.

If it is an emergency, quickly get my attention and I will assist you.

Classroom discussions Please participate. I want to hear what you have to say. Make all questions and comments

relevant to the current discussion. If your question is off the topic, write

it down and ask later.

Moving around the room You must ask permission. Do not ask during a lesson or a class

discussion, unless is an emergency. Make sure you sharpen your pencils

when you come in.

Class dismissal The teacher dismisses you not the bell.

Do not start packing up prior to the bell.

Wait until the teacher finishes and officially dismisses you with Au revoir!!!!!!!!
