Apiprodex company began its operations in 2002, being the firm that set on the market the concept of ecological honey and apiary products.The company was established for production activities, processing and export of high quality apiary products, origin from Romania.The head office and the warehouse are located in Tîrgu- Mureş, a city placed in central Transylvania, thus facilitating better logistics and supply of the central purchasing point.Our Organic certification program vises aprox. 120 beekeepers across the country, which means that the organic honey of over 15.000 bee colonies can be found on the European market.As a novelty, in the summer of 2012 a new certification project was initiated, recognized by the West European market as “NATURLAND” and aiming for the moment 15 beekeepers with aprox. 3.714 bee colonies. Inspection and certification of the organic bee families is provided by ECOCERT, in accordance with EC regulation 834/2007. Prior to delivery, the honey is analyzed according to the following parameters: antibiotics, humidity, HMF and it is closely monitored to prevent counterfeiting with sugars or other additives. Safety of the foodstuff is ensured by ISO 22000 quality system implemented by the firm URS (United Registrar of Systems) Romania.The range of products that Apiprodex company can offer includes organic honey in bulk, in drums of 300 kg, of the following types: acacia, linden, poliflora and manna, but also some other apiary products, such as pollen and propolis.

Bio Carpathia Cooperative is located in the heart of the Carpathian Mountains on the Transylvanian Lands, at the confluence of the germanic, hungarian and romanian secular cultures . We revitalizes the traditions and customs in livestock cultivation and enhancement of organic products, helping to protect the environment. Bio Carpathia produces and sells on the Romanian and EU, traditional cheeses and dairy products, meat and raw-dried, obtained by capitalizing on traditional recipes, handed down from generation to generation, in the 700 years of these communities existence. The products offered by Cooperative Biocarpathia respect all provisions of European Union legislation, on traceability and food safety rules imposed by HACCP standards. Organoleptic product quality and excellence Cooperative Biocarpathia highlight the terroir qualities - spontaneous flora, soil and pure mountain water. Bio Carpathia is an agricultural cooperative in Transylvania that brings together 42 organic dairy and meet farms and is currently the largest organic producer of milk and meat in Romania. From a milk production of 3 600 000 liters / year and 6500kg / year of organic meat delivered as raw material to the big processors, starting 2018, the cooperative launches on the Romanian market finished products processed on the food short chain (dairy products and beef or sheep’s products) by eliminating a number of intermediaries in the supply chain to the benefit of end-users. Our farms are located in the mountain and hill areas of Brasov and Covasna counties known for high quality grazing (species density exceeds 120 species / sqm) and the animals are reared in organic farming and fed with hay, alfalfa and organic rape grains and sunflower. The entire production, processing and marketing activity meets the standards of EC Regulation 834/2007 on ecological production being certified by Ecocert Romania

Our company was founded in 2001, as a family business. It has its headquarters in Arad, Romania and exploits organically an area of 52 ha of farmland in the floodplain of the river Mures, under the inspection and certification of Bios Italy, RO-ECO-009.Our main activity is the research, multiplication and production of sea buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides L.).On the research-improvement side, we lead an intense breeding activity. As a result, in 2010 we certified and brought to market five varieties of sea buckthorn that are very valuable through high yields, a rich physical-chemical content and an excellent response to the organic farming technology. Further on, we are studying a large number of varieties awaiting confirmation of good behavior in the field before they will be released as commercial varieties.As producers of planting material, Primagra has its own nursery, specialized exclusively in sea buckthorn, with a production capacity of 1.500.000.000 rooted cuttings per year. An original technology ensures the production of very vigorous planting material, that is able to start producing efficiently in the third year after planting.Primagra is the leading producer of sea buckthorn berries in Romania, with 35 ha of commercial plantation, and a project to expand to 50 ha, which will ensure an estimated production of approx. 500 tons/year. The fruits are mainly sold unprocessed, frozen. Starting with the 2018 production we will be ready to deliver semi-finished products, on demand, and from 2019 also finished goods, mainly juices and purees, also in combination with other fruits.Beginning with the 2018 production, we will start operating the Sea Buckthorn Collection Center in Arad, which collect the production of further 1.000 ha cultivated in the western part of Romania. The Center will clean, store and thus provide added value. Our vision is to become one of the leading providers of fruit and semi-finished sea buckthorn products in Europe.

Milkcom Production Company Ltd. is a cheese producer located at the curve of Carpathian Mountains, Romania, in a town called Întorsura Buzaului, a predominantly mountain area with large lawns, where traditional, natural and ecological agriculture is still practiced. PRO ROMANIAN FOOD ASSOCIATION – APAR is a

non-governmental, non-profit, apolitical association,

founded in March of 2012 by the free association of

several producers of food who identified the need to

promote Romanian products both on the national and

International market.

APAR inspired by the values we share, the mission, vision

and originality. The association addresses mainly agrofood producers and processors, offering

them by size, specific and individual goals, promoting solutions to the markets.

Our organization has over 70 members working in food industry and whose turnover represents 1.4

billion euros, representing over 14% of Romanian food sector.

In 2013, APAR became a member of the The Romanian Farmers and Food Industry Federation -

PRO AGRO representing the position by civil dialogue at European level “quality and promotion of

products.” Our representatives actively participated in drafting the new regulation on promotion of

agrifood products - Regulation (EU) no. 1144/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council

of 22 October 2014 on information and promotion actions for agricultural products on the internal

market implemented in third countries. As member of PRO AGRO, APAR has gained membership

in the Romanian Export Council, organizing the most important external promotion actions for

Romanian producers.

APAR participated actively in several campaigns: reintroduce a traditional meat product (“Micul

romanesc”) in the European space attesting recognition of our traditions national European context;

campaign to lower VAT on food for creating a favorable environment for Romanian products quality

the measures PNDR 2014-2020 (National Rural Development Programme Romania).

The goal for 2018 is to register at European level at least 10 products (PGI, PDO, TSG), to bring

notoriety to Romania and to help Romanian producers to ease applying for European projects

on promoting the new European regulation. Our activity is oriented this year to identify concrete

solutions in order to stop dual quality for foodstuff.

APAR mission is to make Romanian food products an engine of economic growth of Romania and a

source of national pride.

•Association of Organic Farming Bio Romania is a private

non-profit, non-governmental and apolitical Romanian

legal entity, a partner of ecological agriculture operators .

•The Bio Romania Association advocates for the

sustainable development of Romanian agriculture

and rural areas for educating, informing and raising

awareness of the benefits of organic agriculture for both

human health and nature, by promoting the consumption of organic food.

•The Association brings together members of the oraganic sector in Romania, producers and

exporters of cereals (wheat, barley, oats, corn, peas, millet, etc.), aromatic plants (coriander),

medicinal plants, berries, honey, lime and dairy products, beef and mint meat, flour and bakery

products, apple juice, grapes, berries juice, international varieties of wine, but also unique

Romanian varieties , but also a range of traditional Romanian products certified ecologically (Jam of

Topoloveni, Cheese of Ibanesti and other traditional cheese).

•The quality of Romanian organic products is of special value due to the pedo-climatic conditions of

Romania.
