PROJECT SUMMARYIntelligent services demand novel solutions for managing quality of services, especially security, privacy and reliability, at run-time. The goal of the Pro-Heal project is to implement self-management into the existing IoT devices, services and application domains. An independent living demo is used as show case.

ALGORITHMS FOR SELF-* PROPERTIES n Data is collected from system environment n Collected data is analysed by trust management
framework n Decision is extracted (decision is fault detection in
the pilot study) n Actions are taken for recovery and adaptation
TRUST MANAGEMENT FRAMEWORK n It fuses information streams via subjective logic n Time series is accumulated in a few variables n A typical implementation of trust management
framework is not CPU demanding, and it could be integrated to IoT devices
n Two entities are defined in a trust relationship, namely, a trustor and a trustee
n The trustor relies on the trustee for the truth of a trust statement
n Observations about a trust statement are used as input to predefined evidence update rules
n Opinions are generated from evidence variables
n A time series of observations is accumulated in a few evidence variables based on evidence update rules
n tv (trust value) underlies the decision
