• On May 24, 2008, Pam Barnett, Denise Bridwell and Lisa Livingston, currently members of the Springfield Ghost Society, conducted a private investigation at 9:00 pm, at 1127 S. College in Springfield, IL.

• Said home owner stated there had been strange occurrences in a variety of locations in the house since he moved there in 2002, but had been more evident after he remodeled the entryway near the front door.

• Most notably he indicated several occasions where he heard someone walking through the house, occasionally seeing shadows. He has heard pans crashing in the kitchen and on a couple of occasions has heard big band Christmas music playing in the same area.

• The owner also reports seeing figures walking in the area of the

entryway.

• Denise investigated the basement area, Pam investigated the upper and main levels of the home and Lisa investigated the main floor with the owner.

• There was no notable battery drain during the investigation.

• A recorder was left in the kitchen in an attempt to detect EVPs, however the recorder did malfunction and did not record any data. Unsure if this can be contributed to the presence of an entity.

• A recorder was also left in the entryway of the home and remained in place until the last 40 minutes of the investigation when it was moved to the kitchen area to record a dowsing rod session. Several EVPs were evident on the second recorder. These EVPs are titled as follows:

• During the investigation, Pam Barnett noted a visual occurrence with the living room curtains moving or swaying on their own. We confirmed with the owner there was no air conditioning on in the house and there were no windows open in that area. Note: This home does not have air conditioning.

• It is also important to note there was no wind this specific evening.

• A camcorder was placed in the kitchen and the second camcorder accompanied Denise while she investigated the basement.

• No notable activity was evident on either video recordings.

• Still photos did indicate the presence of several orbs. Due to the skepticism of orbs, only the large or bright unusual-looking orbs are included as evidence in this investigation. There was also an unidentified mist in the hallway off the kitchen.

• There is video of the dowsing rod session that took place at the end of the investigation. Please refer to 05_28_08 TDowsing video.

• The dowsing rod session in the kitchen indicated the presence of entities that consist of a young girl, a woman and an older gentleman.
