TSM210 is based on a security processor with anti-tamper protection at a silicon level and an on-chip temperature sensor to protect against temperature attacks. The external program memory used by the processor is encrypted using TDES and a double-length key that is stored internally in the tamper-protected memory of the security processor.

STS is being adopted internationally in prepaid utility markets. Prism’s TSM range of HSMs are the first and only cryptographic products available globally that support the STS standards.
