UVODNI DEO:
Provera domaćeg zadatka – uobičajeno.
GLAVNI DEO:
Aktivnost 1 – Udžbenik, strana 10, zadaci 1 a, b. Slušanje i ponavljanje. Listen and repeat. (Slušanje broj 1. 11)
1 a – Nastavnik kaže – Look at exercise 1 a. What are these? (months) Can anyone say them? Očekuje se da učenici već znaju mesece u godini. Pošto ih neko nabroji, sledi nova instrukcija – Now listen and repeat.
1 b – Učenici izgovaraju mesece u godini, redom, lančano – Say the months in order round the class. Nastavnik izgovara January, pokazuje na jednog učenika da nastavi i tako redom dok svi učenici ne izgovore po jedan mesec.
Učenici dalje, lančano, izgovaraju mesece u godini ali ne redom. Nastavnik kaže January, poziva jednog učenika da nastavi ali pre toga kaže - Two months later(March). Zatim kaže four months later (July) / two months earlier (May) / five months later (October) / two months earlier (August) / four months earlier (April) / two months later (June) / five months later (November) / nine months earlier (February) / seven monts later (September) / three months later (December).
Aktivnost 2 – Udžbenik, strana 10, zadaci 2 a, b. Slušanje i zapisivanje traženih informacija. Listen and write. (Slušanje broj 1. 12)
2 a - Sledi instrukcija – Get ready to listen and write down the months you hear. Work individually and compare your answers with your partner. Nastavnik pušta CD, pravi pauzu iza svakog izgovorenog meseca kako bi učenici imali vremena da ga zapišu. Provera se radi sa celim odeljenjem.
Odgovori: April, February, March, August, November, July
2 b – Zadatak će se raditi malo izmenjeno u odnosu na ono što se u udžbeniku traži. Nastavnik napiše na tabli sve mesece u godini, jedan ispod drugog. Svi učenici čitaju rečenicu 1 (My favourite month is...). Kako koji učenik izgovori svoj omiljeni mesec, jedan učenik, koga odabere odeljenje, piše √ pored tog meseca. Kada svi kažu svoj omiljeni mesec, saberu se štikliranja i proglašava se mesec koji je najomiljeniji na nivou celog odeljenja - So what is the class’s favourite month? Na isti način mogu da se odrade i stale tri rečenice.

Aktivnost 3 – Rad na nastavnom listiću. Ordinal numbers.
Nastavnik će redne brojeve uvesti uz pomoć radnog listića (za svakog učenika po jedan) koji je dat u prilogu uz ovu pripremu. Radiće se frontalno, deo po deo, nastavnik će postavljati pitanja koja će navoditi učenike da donose zaključke. How do we form ordinal numbers? What do we add? (-st, -nd, -rd, -th) Look at eighth?What can you notice? (one ’t’) And ninth? (no –e) What about twelfth? (not’v’ but ’f’) What is different with twentieth, thirtieth, fortieth...? (-y is deleted and we add –ieth) itd. Bitno je da nastavnik svaki broj izgovori naglas i da ga učenici ponove. Nagasiti da se uz redni broj uvek koristi određeni član ’the’ i da mora da se izgovori čak i kada ne piše.

Aktivnost 4 - Udžbenik, strana 10, zadaci 3 a, b. (Zadaci c, d i e se ne rade.) Redni brojevi i meseci u godini. Read and say.
3 a – Učenici čiatju rečenice naglas, jednu po jednu. nastavnik skreće pažnju na određeni ćlan ’the’ ispred rednog broja.
3 b – Učenici govore mesece u godini pomažući se frazama sa rednim brojevima koje su date u zadatku – Which months are these?
ZAVRŠNI DEO:
Nastavnik postavlja model - Let’s talk about birthdays now. My birthdayis in the second month. When is it? (In February.) When is your birthday? – učenici dalje na isti način govore dijalog – otvoreni parovi.
Domaći zadatak: radna sveska, strana 6, zadaci 1, 2 i 3.
