PRINT YOUR OWN DESIGN !!
Printing had always been synonymous to surfaces, but not any more when the sci-fi
theory of having everything you can imagine at the push of a button has been figured
out. 3D printing has changed the perspectives of all fields of Imagineering where the
implementation of dream is the ideal strategy when a designer brings the creation on
paper (or iPad to keep up with the technological advancements).

The innovation has been a spark in most of the creative professions but the field
where it has been taking research advancement by leaps & bound is Architecture. All
these approaches are completely untried at this scale. And there's a certain amount of
skepticism regarding the viability of scaling up a technology that, until now, has only
been used to make relatively small objects – objects that do not demand the structural
or environmental performance of a house.
But architects working in this area are convinced it won’t be long before additive
manufacturing transforms their discipline. The scope of 3D printing is unbound in
architecture once the structural stability of the building material is worked out.

3D printers are building with admixtures strengthened materials which are self-
strengthening and hence the output is a monolithic product. The advancements have
moved way ahead to make composite material printing also feasible with materials like
waste plastic filtered out of the sea and recycled fishing nets.

Capable of creating solid 3D objects from a digital model designed through a computer
aided design (CAD) or through the use of a 3D scanner, the technology could
potentially print ‘layers’ of material and bind them together to create a seamless 3D
product.

3D building printing technology could prove to be a viable alternative to traditional
construction methods for low-rise buildings.
The benefits of the technology include a faster construction process, as well as
reduced labor costs and waste generation. Utilized for homes and offices, such 3D
printed structures could be erected and dismantled at an increased pace. Dubai has
already revealed plans to develop a 3D printed office in its city center. The 20-foot
tall structure is being developed by WinSun Global, a company that has previously
constructed a 3D printed apartment building in China.

This advancement and experimentation with recyclable material is another boon to the
worldwide pollution issue. The technology and the materials under consideration for
the same can start a revolution and change the construction industry forever. Now all
you have to think is that you could create and design your own products in your
backyard. Dream on!!

With products being printed in printers it is not very far in the future to imagine printers to set a trend.
THE 3-D INTERFACE
The Doodler2 can really bring your doodles to life, not just saying it really makes 3D sketching possible
It’s not just the 3D printing that is taking the creative industry by storm, it is even
the interface which designers can use has come out of the 2D plane with DOODLER
2.0 , POLYES Q1 and various 3D PENS which have given a new dimension to creating
impressions in 3D. The connect between the intellect to 3D has made it easier to
visualize and eliminate miscalculations at an earlier stage with a better understanding
of the designers illustration. It’s a mechanism which involves plasticizers at varying
temperatures giving them the required strength to stand as 3D objects. The power of
creation has really been put into your hands....!!
