Good design is all the things that go into creating, in this case, a web page that people want to use.It needs to have an overall appeal and a functional design. In other words look good and easy to use.

Animation
Layout
Navigation
Interactivity
Hyperlinks

Things that appeal to students:

  • Colors

6. Text accompanied by graphics 7. Animations 8. Simple to understand graphicsThink about the grade level that you are working with and their needs. Which page would appeal to a younger student? Which would appeal to older students? Is there one that does not have appealing graphics or colors?

Potential to immediately capture an audience.
Connects the viewer to the context of the webpage

A very small thing that makes or breaks the webpage for me.
Is the font legible? A clear easy to read font? Appropriate size?
Not too big
Not too small
A font that fits in with the ideas and theme of the webpage.
