Project Details
Planning consent was required for the installation of a piece of sculptural artwork commemorating the life and achievements of Prince Alexander Obolensky; a Russian émigré and rugby football legend killed on wartime duty at RAF Martlesham and buried in Ipswich cemetery.
The sculpture is situated in Cromwell Square in Ipswich town centre and was designed and created by the well-known sculptor Harry Gray.
