Problemele cu care Romnia se confrunt n domeniul gestionrii deseurilor au un impact major asupra societii, reprezint o ameninare direct la adresa sntii si au un efect advers asupra calitii vieii. Cea mai mare parte a deseurilor din Romnia sunt depozitate necontrolat. Acest fapt afecteaz mediul nconjurtor datorit levigatului provenit de la depozitele neconforme, levigat ce ptrunde att n apele de suprafa, ct si n cele subterane. Din cauza arderii frecvente a deseurilor apare, de asemenea, i problema polurii aerului.

The problems wich Romania has in the waste management domain have a major impact to the society, it represents a direct treat to the health of the population and a negative effect towards the quality of life. The major part of the waste in Romania are not well managed. This fact affects the enviornment, with negative effects to the grounds and waters. Also the burning of the waste brings another problem, the poluation of the air.

Iata unul din motivele principale pentru care Prefectura Constanta, Guvernul Flamand, Interleuven, Primaria Comunei Cumpana, Primaria Comunei Lumina si Primaria Comunei Corbu au demarat un proiect care are ca principal scop sensibilizarea locuitorilor si autoritatilor locale asupra problemei deseurilor si cum sa depoziteze aceste deseuri intr-un mod ecologic astfel incat sa nu aiba efecte negative asupra naturii.

This is one the main reason that the Prefecture of Constanta, the Flemish Governement, Interleuven, the Halls of Cumpana, Lumina and Corbu have decided to start togheter a project with the purpose of making inhabitans and public authorities more sensitive to the problem of waste and how to dispose of waste in an enviornmentally-friendly way that doesnt have adverse consequences for nature.

Pupils recieved maps, flyers, brochures containing informations about waste managament. Impreuna cu profesorii de la scoala din localitate in fiecare clasa au fost organizate ore de dirigentie speciale in care s-a discutat despre managementul deseurilor si reciclare. De asemenea elevii au primit flyere, brosuri si mape ce contineau informatii legate de managamentul deseurilor.

School ActivitiesPractical activityDuring a class hour, pupilsfrom fifth grade have been colectingwaste from the schools green space in different bags, for paper, plastic, and botles. The bags have been deposited by the pupils in the special containers. Activitate PracticaIn timpul unei ore, elevii din clasa a V-a au colectat deseuri din curea scolii in saci diferiti, pentru hartie, plastic si sticla. Sacii au fost depozitati in containerele speciale.

KindergardenactivitiesIn each class children from the Kindergardenhave recieved maps and flyers wichthey will bring home to their parents. Based on the flyers, teachers have spoke about what recicling means and ways to protect nature.

In fiecare clasa copiii de la gradinita au primit pliante si mape pe care le vor duce acasa la parinti. Pornind de la aceste pliante, educatorii le-au vorbit elevilor despre ce inseamna reciclarea si cai de protejare a naturii.
