Includes: Access to the hall from 10:00am - midnight, your choice of 6’ rectangular tables or 60” round tables, banquet style chairs, floor length table cloths, overlays, skirting of head table and cake table (white, ivory or black), various colored cloth napkins, place setting package for all guests and event security.

To reserve The Great Hall for your wedding, a signed contract and a non-refundable initial payment of $500.00 is required. Maximum capacity of 250.

Did you know?The different levels in the Great Hall once designated what school grade you were in.

FAQsYes! Both halls are heated and cooled.

Candles are allowed but must be in some type of votive.

In order to preserve our spaces we ask that nothing gets adhered to the walls or floors.

We can seat up to 10 people per round table, but prefer 8-9.

Since it is YOUR wedding day, feel free to be creative and make it as unique as you and your fiance are!

Event security will be present at your event.

The Assembly HallClear windows provide a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan and inner courtyard making this a great space for intimate weddings, showers and other important events in your life.

It was a perfect setting for our grandson’s wedding. That Lake Michigan background for pictures was outstanding. The whole grounds were gorgeous.

So wonderful! They helped me have such a beautiful wedding. Adam and Mandy are great coordinators who helped every step of the way.

The grounds are beautiful and the hall was such a great place to have our reception. The staff is amazing and very responsive and helpful during the whole planning process. Your CeremonyWhether you are looking for a unique indoor ceremony or a picturesque outdoor ceremony, we offer both! Nestled amongst 11 lakefront acres, St. John’s Chapel is a great place to start your happily ever after.

Ceremony rental rate: $550.00(Outdoor ceremonies available only May 1st – September 31st)

Includes: 1 hour rehearsal the day before and a 3 hour access time to St. John’s Chapel and the inner courtyard on your wedding day.

You can choose between our 1:00pm or 5:00pm ceremony start times. The 1:00pm is reserved for couples holding their reception in the Great Hall first. If we are 6 months or less from the wedding date and it hasn’t been booked yet, it becomes available to everyone.

To reserve your ceremony for your wedding, a signed contract and a non-refundable initial payment of $200.00 is required. Maximum capacity of 200.

Did you know?You can rent the whole campus for only $6,500?* Includes both halls and both ceremony time slots, giving you a custom start time for your ceremony!!* Subject to availability.

FAQsThe chapel is heated and air conditioned.

If an outdoor ceremony is what you desire, St. John’s Chapel is your indoor contingency site.

Outdoor white garden chairs are rented through the DeKoven Center at $3.50/chair, due 14 days before your wedding. Cost is refundable if inclement weather occurs.

Please no bird seed, rice or confetti outside or inside. A bubble exit outside is encouraged!

Use fake petals inside and real petals outside.

FAQsNo matter what you pre-purchase, your guests still have full access to the bar! They will see what is free and what items they are able to purchase.

Hosted bar applies to those who are over 21. Those who are under 21 will be required to have the unlimited soda and juice purchased for them by you and your fi ance.

Final guest count and payments are due 14 days before your wedding. That way you have a very accurate guest count!

PLEASE NOTE: Wisconsin State Law prohibits any beer, wine or liquor from being brought onto our premises. Failure to abide by these rules will result in confi scation of carry-ins. The DeKoven Center reserves the right to shut down the event if the problem persists.

All prices are subject to change. There is a 17% service fee and 5.1% sales tax that will automatically be added to all beverage service invoices.

At this time, The DeKoven Center does NOT offer Dry Events. All events MUST meet the bar minimum.

Coordinating PackagesSilver Coordinating Package: $1,500.00Perfect for the couple that has planning under control but can’t run their wedding and be in their wedding at the same time! Let the DeKoven Center handle the details so you, your family and friends can have a day of unforgettable memories and joy!

• Initial consultation that covers couple’s history, wedding budget and vision for your wedding day.

• Collection of vendor information, contract copies and overview of logistical components.

• Creation of wedding day timeline for all vendors and oversight of day-of deliveries.• Placement and installation of pre-assembled ceremony and reception decorations.• Supervise rehearsal, ceremony and reception as needed.• Assist in end-of event tasks including gift loading, packaging of cake, gathering of

fl owers and additional items that need to leave the venue at the vacate time.• Venue clean up.

Gold Coordinating Package: $2,300.00You have the ideas! We make it happen! Instead of planning through trial and error, let us be your liaison during the wedding planning process. We will partner you with the perfect vendors to match your dreams and your budget! Wedding planning will feel quick and painless with our years of experience.

• All services offered in Silver Coordinating Package.• Design meeting that includes mock-ups with pricing info, initial vendor referrals

that will fi t into your budget and exclusive access to 20% off all DeKoven Center decoration rentals.

• Customized wedding planning checklist for client.• On-site decoration storage available 2 weeks before wedding date.• One off-site appointment with couple to assist with one of the following meetings:

vendor meeting, tasting, dress fi tting or at home decoration pickup/drop off.*

Platinum Coordinating Package: $3,500.00 (Or 15% of total wedding cost - which ever is greater)Leave it all to us! This is our full service package. We take care of the hard stuff but your wedding day - and all the joy it brings - is yours to cherish forever!

• All services offered in Silver and Gold Coordinating Packages.• Creation of tablescapes, fl oral design, wedding stationary and favors.• Vendor liaison including appointment scheduling, interviews, bookings and

deliveries.• Two additional off-site appointments with couple to assist with one of the

following: vendor meeting, tasting, dress fi tting or at home decoration pickup/drop off.*

• Management of guest list and RSVPs.• Provide couple with complete guest list 2 weeks before wedding day.• Two on-site coordinators for the duration of your wedding day.

* Appointment consists of 3 hours, including round trip travel for coordination. If additional time/travel is needed, the cost is $25.00/hour. Appointment cannot be split into multiple off site appointments totaling 3 hours. If additional off site appointments are needed, the cost is $25.00/hour.

Love Notes

We had our wedding ceremony outdoors at the Dekoven Center. The grounds are beautiful so if you have your ceremony outdoors or in the chapel you won’t be disappointed. The grounds have so many amazing options for pictures! Adam and Mandy were very professional and accommodating. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful setting for my ceremony.

I had gotten so lucky fi nding this place for my wedding. I will always have the best memories of my experience here and I cannot sing high enough praises for The Dekoven Center.

Wedding CakesTRADITIONAL WEDDING CAKESOur traditional, baked-fresh wedding cake fl avors include White Chiffon, Decadent Butter (yellow), Chocolate Fudge and Royal Tuxedo (two layers each of White and Chocolate Cake).

Starting at $3.75 per serving, your traditional cake price includes a traditional cream or fruit preserve fi lling of your choice.

PREMIUM CAKE FLAVORSOur in-house pastry chef can design a custom cake fl avor for your big day. Starting at $4.25 per serving, choose from premium cake fl avors such as Moist Red Velvet, Fresh Pistachio, Bananas Foster, Fresh Blueberry Crème Fraîche, Champagne Sponge, Mocha Chip, Lemon Chiffon, Brown Butter, Strawberries and Cream, our exclusive Wisconsin Brandy Old Fashioned and more! Gluten free cakes are available for an additional $0.50 per serving.

TRADITIONAL FILLINGSOur traditional fi llings include our fresh fruit preserves (Red Raspberry, Strawberry, Apricot, or Blueberry) and must be accompanied by either our melt-in-your-mouth Vanilla or Chocolate Italian Buttercream.

FAQsYou are more than welcome to select a caterer outside this list! BUT before you book with them - they need to be approved by the DeKoven Center and provide a license, sign a contract and show their proof of insurance.

Preferred caterers have a $1.00/person catering surcharge fee that is built INTO their price. Non preferred caterers will incur a 20% (of the total catering cost) catering surcharge fee which they could pass on to you!

Your ShowerThe Assembly Hall’s clear windows provide a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan and inner courtyard making this a great space for your intimate bridal shower or baby shower!

Rental rate: $700.00*(November - April dates available for non-DeKoven brides)

Includes: 1 hour setup time, 3 hours for your event, 1 hour cleanup time, 6 ft. rectangular tables or 60” round tables, banquet style chairs for up to 150 and white table linens.

A full line of colored linens are available for rent as well!

Self catering is allowed for guest counts under 75 but you won’t have access to the catering prep kitchen. If you decide to hire a licensed caterer, they have full access to our catering prep kitchen.

Any alcoholic beverages MUST be purchased through the DeKoven Center. Carry-ins are NOT allowed. There is a $100.00 bar setup fee, along with a bartender fee of $20.00/hour.

• Bottle Beer – Domestic: $4.00 • Bottle Beer – Import: $5.00 • House Wine (Per Glass): $6.00 • Champagne/Mimosas (Per Glass): $6.00 • Rail Mixed Drink (Per Glass): $6.00 • Premium Mixed Drink (Per Glass): $8.00

The DeKoven Center reserves the right to prohibit the consumption of alcoholic beverages on its property. Wisconsin State Law Prohibits any Beer/Wine/Liquor from being brought onto our premises. Failure to abide by these rules will result in confiscation of carry-ins. The DeKoven Center reserves the right to shut down the event if problems persist. Factory sealed and labeled non-alcoholic beverages are allowed with prior approval from the Event Manager.

Did you know?The faux fireplace area makes the perfect background for opening your gifts and pictures!

FAQsAre you a DeKoven bride? Enjoy your bridal shower here any Sunday before your wedding (based on availability) and enjoy 1 large rental item for your wedding day!

Adam Koenig - Events Manager

Adam is passionate about providing each client with a level of customer service seldom found elsewhere. Our attention to detail, flexibility and competitive pricing gives couples the freedom to plan their day, their way. Adam has a BFA in Fine Art and, before

entering the Events Industry, was a Stylist and Creative Consultant working with noted fashion photographer Greg Kadel and H&M. This creative background is the foundation The DeKoven Center staff uses in coordinating your dream wedding!

He enjoys: A big cup of coffee, spending time with friends and making his co-workers laugh.

Favorite wedding colors: White on cream with lush botanicals.

Mandy Tutas - Events Coordinator

Mandy has been working in the wedding industry since 2013 but has been planning “weddings” as long as she can remember. Her attention to detail and bubbly personality make her a great fit for helping couples plan their wedding. Some of her favorite moments during a wedding are: seeing the bride for the first time, watching the groom see his bride for the first time and when

the guests get to cheer as they are announced husband and wife.

She enjoys: Long walks with her husband and Siberian Husky, Broadway shows and anything covered in chocolate.

Favorite wedding colors: Blush and burgundy with a soft gold.

Kelsey Luchterhand - Setup Crew

Kelsey joined our wedding crew in 2013. She is one of the hardest workers here, literally. Her job deals with all of our wedding setups! If you have ever wondered how many staff members it takes to clean the hall, setup the tables and chairs,

prep all the linens and get everything ready before you come in for your wedding - typically it is just Kelsey! She sure is Wonder Woman around here.

She enjoys: Coffee, taking pictures and spending time out in nature.

Favorite wedding colors: Navy blue and ivory.
