O. G. Supply, LLC introduces the BLUE-MAX® manhole and handhole gaskets, engineered to provide all the durability, resilience, and sealing properties of an asbestos gasket, but without the asbestos. A BLUE-MAX® gasket is manufactured from a proprietary tacky cloth of glass, synthetic fibers, and brass wire,

impregnated with a blue elastomer compound. The material is cut and formed to the desired size and shape, then coated with a proprietary Teflon material per MIL SPEC T-27730A. The finished gasket is easily installed, delivers troublefree service, and does its part to reduce expensive boiler maintenance and downtime.

Zero Leakage Under Pressure. Even the slightest leakage is too much, as it increases maintenance and reduces boiler life. Tests by major boiler manufacturers confirm that Blue-Max® gaskets seal with zero leakage in steam to 450 psi and can withstand working temperatures up to 500°F. Rubber gaskets simply can’t take that kind of pressure and heat.

Easily Removed. BLUE-MAX® gaskets will not stick to the plate after being in service. Removal is easy and requires no chiseling or buffing. This is important in reducing maintenance costs and boiler downtime.

Sizes Clearly Marked. Each gasket is permanently and clearly marked with its size, so you’ll know immediately that you have the appropriate one.

Easy, Problem-Free Installation. BLUE-MAX® gaskets offer installation advantages over other types. Because of the material’s construction and strength, there is no danger of overtightening the gasket and cutting it in half. A BLUE-MAX® gasket naturally lays flat on the flange, and requires no special installation tools, procedures or training. Simply install the gasket and crank it down.

Interchangeable Sizes. Corresponding obround and oval sizes are interchangeable, thanks to the unique properties of the material. It is not necessary to stock separate gaskets to accommodate slight size variations, and chances of a dangerous mismatch are reduced.

Maximum Sealing on Rough Surfaces. Rough and pitted surfaces on old or poorly maintained flanges pose no problem for a BLUE-MAX® gasket. The material is resilient enough to conform perfectly to surface topography and maintain the tightest possible seal.

Chemical-Resistance. The proprietary Teflon coating is resistant to the chemicals used in treating boiler water, so gasket life will be longer.

Extended Shelf Life. A BLUE-MAX® gasket won’t dry out or lose its strength while it sits on the shelf.

You need the new BLACK-MAX® gasket-made from foil-reinforced, exfoliated graphite. These gaskets are made from multiple layers of exfoliated graphite foil and 316 stainless steel foil insuring gasket stability. You can use them in virtually any situation, in environments that run from a cryogenic -400°F to 1,200°F steam temperature up to 2,000 psi. Now you can standardize your gasket selection, they are available in popular shapes: Oval, obround, rectangular, round, and square.

WHITE-MAX® gaskets are especially designed for inspection ports of boilers and tanks. They provide reliable sealability with this low stress and exceptional dimension stability.

This form of gasketing is processed by expanding 100% pure polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). The result is a bi-directional, soft, highly compressible gasket for longer life and trouble-free sealing. Its form-in-place versatility is perfect for sealing boiler plates that are worn, warped or scored. The high compressibility of the WHITE-MAX® gasket enables it to effectively fill flange imperfections for a tight, leak-free seal. Unlike conventional PTFE which is prone to cold flow WHITE-MAX® has good creep resistance and bolt torque retention properties. It does not support bacterial growth or cause product contamination and is FDA compliant. It has virtually no shelf-life concerns since PTFE is unaffected by normal environmental conditions.

WHITE-MAX® has excellent resistance properties to chemical attack. It is ideal for most chemical services at temperatures to -450°F (-268°C ) to 600°F (315°C) and pressure to 3,000 psi (206 bar). When high levels of CO2

in the steam and condensate require increased levels of neutralizing amines to prevent condensate corrosion. This chemical injection with increasing alkalinity could potentially contest the upper limits of resistance with other gasket compounds. In challenging thermal cycling and elevated temperature applications, the WHITE-MAX® gasket solution can reduce the process safety and production downtime risks caused by the use of an incorrect gasket material.

Spiral-Max gaskets can be made from a wide variety of profiled alloy containment strips combined with speci-fied sealing composites. Following ASME B16.20 code, the strips are wound around a mandrel specific to the finished gaskets internal dimensions. The gasket’s in-side diameter contains, at a minimum, three plies of preformed metal strip without the sealing composite and is spot-welded at least three times at a distance no greater than 3” apart around the inner circumference. The sealing material, also in strip form, is introduced and wound together with the profiled alloy to achieve the total width of the gasket. The external layers, up to three plies, are spot-welded circumferentially with a minimum of three welds.

Designed to achieve an effective seal under the most demanding operating conditions, the Spiral-Max pro-file is engineered to provide recovery in applications where the load on the gasket may vary due to major temperature fluctuations. While there is not a published standard for the construction of hand-hole and man-hole spiral wound gaskets, the industry often catego-rizes them into pressure ratings 0-999 PSI and great-er than 1,000 PSI. The difference between these two designations is the thickness of the sealing composite. A thicker sealing composite results in a lower content of containment strip. Inversely, a thinner sealing com-posite allows for an increased content of containment strip. The higher the alloy content, the more pressure the gasket can withstand.

The Spiral-Max designation codes for gaskets manu-factured utilizing these techniques are OG - represent-ing Outer Ring And Gasket Element; OGI -representing Outer Ring, Gasket Element and Inner Ring; LP (low pressure) and HP (high pressure) for hand/man hole gaskets in applications where pressures exceed 1,000 psi. The use of an internal solid ring is recommended to provide a mechanical stop and prevent over compres-sion which could lead to inward buckling of the gasket. The designation code for this type of ring construction is HPI (High Pressure-Internal Ring).

The steam boiler market makes extreme demands on gaskets. Topog-E® molded rubber gaskets are made from a special proprietary black rubber composition, 80-85 durometer and are specifically formulated to meet and exceed these demands and deliver industry standard performance.

Topog-E® Series 180 gaskets have been refined through a series of over 600 research formulation tests to ensure that they are able to meet the exacting performance standards of the steam boiler industry.

When used on steam pressure vessels Topog-E® Series 180 gaskets are typically used at operating pressures of up to 180 PSI (12 bar) and saturated steam temperatures up to 380º F. (193º C) for an average service life of one year. When used in other applications (e.g. condensate, water, and air vessels) Topog-E® Series 180 gaskets are sometimes used at pressures above 200 PSI (14 bar) where temperatures are typically more moderate (e.g. below 250ºF./121ºC.). When operating under less severe conditions (e.g. water applications at ambient temperatures) Topog-E® Series 180 gaskets can provide very long service lives.

Topog-E® Series 180 gaskets have been used successfully around the world for over forty years. In general, any type of industrial pressure vessel or tank that has inspection openings is a potential application where Topog-E® Series 180 gaskets can be used as a cost effective sealing device. In addition to using them in steam pressure vessels, customers also use Topog-E® molded gaskets and sheet material with great success in many other applications.

Topog-E® Series 180 gaskets are specifically formulated to have excellent resistance to steam, as well as hot and cold water.

Water treatment chemicals, when used in accordance with supplier’s guidelines, should not have a significant effect on the service life of properly installed Topog-E® Series 180 gaskets.

Topog-E® Series 180 gaskets are not recommended for use in applications where they see direct exposure to high concentrations of aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, or petroleum based oils, fuels, and lubricants.

TEX-MAX rope and tape products are high-temperature, non-combustible 100% pure E-glass fiber composite and can withstand continuous exposure up to 1,000°F. It will not burn or support combustion, and is resistant to degradation caused by exposure to common industrial fluids and chemicals. Reduce heat loss and maintain proper internal system temperatures by insulating with TEX-MAX rope and tape products.

The TEX-MAX rope is available in round or square braided construction to achieve higher density and is widely used as a standalone gasketing/packing solution for boilers, industrial ovens, furnaces, kilns, and in various foundry applications. It is also used as the bulb material in tad-pole gaskets.

TEX-MAX tape is a tightly woven, highly versatile and easy product to install. It often used as a gasket tape for high temperature applications or can be used to insulate lines with a large or irregular outer diameter pipes with bends, and for existing lines which require insulation and cannot be disconnected. Wrapping systems in 100% fiberglass TEX-MAX tape provides reliable thermal protection and insulation in extreme environments.

Resistant to common industrial fluids and chemicals, this noncombustible thermal tape provides continuous insulation in the harshest of industrial applications.

Manufacturers, operators, and MRO professionals will appreciate the straightforward installation that does not require system shutdowns for line insulation. TEX-MAX tape is commonly used as a boiler door seals, pipe wrap, furnace curtains, and tadpole tapes. It is available in plain woven, drop warp or bolt hole tape, and can be provided with adhesive-backing.

i-MAX Tadpole Gasketing

i-MAX is a unique seal combining the attributes of both tad-pole gasketing and bolt hole tape. It is ideal for a high temperature thermal sealing of industrial laboratory, commercial and residential ovens and dryers with a maximum continuous operating temperature of 1,300°F / 700°C. Manufactured from woven E-glass with heavy vermiculite coating, formed and sewn over a core material of fiberglass rope results in a characteristic tail structure which will accommodate bolt pass through. The i-MAX is a soft, resilient gasketing material for effective sealing on light metal flanges where limited bolting force is available and where doors and other closures rest on the bulb of the packing. It will maintain effective sealing throughout prolonged service in high temperature applications.

This form of joint sealant is specially processed by expanding 100% pure polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). It provides a soft, highly compressible gasket for longer life and trouble-free sealing. Its form-in-place versatility cuts maintenance and storage costs. The high compressibility of TETRA-MAX JS enables it to effectively fill flange imperfections for a tight, leak-free seal. Under pressure, it provides a very wide, thin ribbon-like joint sealant. Unlike conventional PTFE which is prone to cold flow, TETRA-MAX JS has good creep resistance and bolt torque retention properties. It does not support bacterial growth or cause product contamination and is FDA compliant. It has virtually no shelf-life concerns since PTFE is unaffected by normal environmental conditions.

TETRA-MAX JS has excellent resistance properties to chemical attack with a pH range of 0-14. It is ideal for

most chemical services at temperatures to 600°F (316°C) and pressure to 3,000 psi (207 bar). It is also suitable for cryogenic use to -321°F (-196°C).

The sealant is available in roll form which helps reduce storage space, and is available in a wide variety of thicknesses and lengths.

1. ACCEPTANCE: All orders are subject to approval and acceptance by an authorized officer of the Seller. Acceptance of orders, whether oral or written is conditioned upon the Buyer’s agreement to ALL the Seller’s terms and conditions of sale (the – “Terms”). Acceptance of delivery by Buyer shall constitute Buyer’s assent to the Terms. The Terms represent the complete agreement of the parties and no terms and conditions modifying the Terms shall be binding upon Seller unless agreed to in writing by an authorized officer of the Seller. No modification of the terms will be effected by Seller’s shipment of goods following receipt of buyers purchase order, shipping request, or similar form containing printed terms and conditions conflicting or inconsistent with the Terms.

2. PAYMENTS: Unless otherwise provided, terms of payments are net 30 days. Prices are subject to change without notice, and all goods shall be billed at the prices then in effect at the time of shipment. Seller will notify Buyer of any price increase and Buyer may cancel any undelivered portion of the order by written notice to the Seller provided such written notice is received by Seller not more than ten (10) days after Buyer’s receipt of notice of the price increase. Upon such cancellation, Buyer shall have no liability for the canceled portion of the order except as to goods then manufactured or in process, components procured by Seller from outside source, and special tooling and equipment procured for the execution of the order.

3. CAUTION: Gasket materials are known to contain fibers and particulates. Avoid creating dust. Breathing this dust may cause lasting lung damage. See Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for hazards identification, Buyer agrees to warn its employees, agents, representatives and customers of these dangers and to ensure that SDS’s are made available to these persons. Buyer further agrees that the workplace in which the procured material is cut, installed, removed, handled or otherwise used by the Buyer and its employees, agents, representatives and customers shall fully comply with applicable OSHA and all other governmental laws and regulations and any recommendations of professional bodies such as the American Conference of Governmental and Industrial Hygienist (ACGIH). Buyer shall use its most diligent efforts to assure that its customers advise their employees, agents, representatives and customers of the described warnings for which requirement shall continue for each subsequent customer in the chain of distribution.

4. LIMITED WARRANTY: All goods are sold by Seller are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of thirty (30) days from the date goods are shipped. Damage due to transit, improper installation, misuse, field alterations, lack of maintenance, improper storage, ne-glect, accident or any other reason of any description not under the control of the seller is excluded from this limited warranty. Any claim by the buyer with reference to the goods sold herein shall be deemed waived by the Buyer unless submitted to Seller in writing within thirty (30) days from the date the Buyer discovered or should have discovered any claimed breach.

5. DAMAGES LIMITATION: In no event, shall Seller be liable for consequential, incidental, direct or special damages arising, directly or indirect from the goods or the use or failure thereof, whether based on breach of warranty, negligence, strict liability in tort or otherwise. The information provided the Buyer about the product and its use only serve as guidelines since actual conditions of use are beyond Seller’s control, the Buyer and/or the users must satisfy themselves that the product is suitable for the intended application.

6. INDEMNIFICATION: Buyer shall indemnify, hold harmless and defend Seller from and against all liability and expenses based upon personal injury, property damage or economic loss arising directly or indirectly from Seller’s goods or the use or failure therefore as are caused by the negligent act or omission of the Buyer, its employees, agents, representatives and or customers.

7. SAMPLES: In the event that the Seller has furnished samples to the Buyer, Seller has no liability connection with these samples and there is no war-ranty as to these samples. Paragraphs 3 and 6 hereof apply to these samples.

8. METHOD OF TRANSPORTATION: Seller will use all reasonable efforts to comply with Buyer’s request as to the method of shipment, but Seller reserves the right to use an alternate method of transportation or route of shipment in its discretion. In such cases, the Seller will notify the Buyer of such change as soon as reasonably possible.

9. DELIVERY OF GOODS: FOB Shipping Point. Delivery of goods to the carrier shall be deemed delivery of goods to the Buyer and thereupon title of goods and risk of loss or damage shall be the Buyer’s. Any claim by the Buyer against the Seller for shortages or damage prior to such delivery must be made within seven (7) days after receipt of shipment and accompanied by the original transportation bill signed by the carrier noting that the carrier received goods from the Seller in the condition claimed.

10. DELAYS: Seller shall not be liable for delays in performance or nonperformance of this agreement or for delays in shipment or default in delivery for any cause beyond Seller’s reasonable control including but not limited to, government action, shortage of labor, raw material, production or transpor-tation facilities, labor difficulties, fire, flood or another casualty. In the event of any such delay in Seller's performance due in whole or part to any cause beyond Seller's reasonable control. Seller shall have such additional time for performance as may be reasonably necessary under the circumstanc-es. Seller may fill other parts of the order. as it is capable of filling on schedule and in the event Buyer places any other part of the order elsewhere. Seller shall be entitled to fill the unplaced portion. Acceptance by Buyer of any goods shall constitute a waiver by Buyer of any claim for damages on account of any delay in delivery of such goods.

11. HOLD ON DELIVERY: Each shipment shall be treated as a separate and independent sale. but if Buyer fails at any time to pay any amount due hereunder or otherwise fails to fulfill the terms and conditions of this or other agreements between the parties. Seller may. without prejudice to other remedies defer further shipments until all defaults of Buyer have been fully cured, recall, countermand, or divert any shipment to buyer and revest title in Seller: or cancel any unshipped balance and terminate this agreement.

12. TAXES: Buyer shall pay all federal. state. territorial. or municipal sales. use. or similar taxes and other levies applicable to the goods or the sale or use thereof. All such taxes and charges are payable with the purchase price.

13. COLLECTION AND SECURITY INTEREST: Buyer shall make payments without expense to Seller and shall pay all reasonable attorneys' fees and other costs of collection incurred by Seller. Unless and until the goods are fully paid for. Seller reserves a security interest in the goods to secure the unpaid balance of the selling price and all other obligations of the Buyer to the Seller. Buyer hereby grants Seller a power of attorney to execute and file on behalf of Buyer all necessary financing statements and other similar documents required to perfect the security interest herein granted.

14. TERMINATION: This agreement cannot be terminated and goods cannot be returned without Seller's prior written consent.15. SUCCESSORS AND ASSIGNS: This agreement shall bind and ensure to the benefit of the successors and assigns of the parties hereto. This agree-

ment is not assignable or transferable by Buyer. in whole or part. except upon written consent of Seller.16. WAIVER: Waiver by Seller of any breach of the Terms shall not be construed as a waiver of any other breach and Seller's failure to exercise any right

arising from any default hereunder shall not be deemed a waiver of such right which may be exercised at any subsequent time. If any provision of this agreement shall be held invalid, illegal or unenforceable. The balance of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect as if such provision had not been included. The enumeration herein of certain rights does not exclude Seller from asserting other available legal or equitable rights.

17. JURISDICTION: This agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Texas and or California. Buyer's order is deemed acceptable at Cibolo, Texas or Corona, California.
