The insert barrel “KS” can be sighted-in without removing it from the carrier barrel as adjustment is done at the muzzle of the insert barrel. The listed prices include fitting, proof testing and sighting-in. Drillings featuring light weight receivers, made from Duraluminium can only be equipped with .22 Hornet calibres and only if the lock up of the gun is in good condition. The exception here is our Optima 20 drilling dural which features a specially designed lock up system, which is also suitable for larger calibres such as .222 Rem, 5.6x50R Mag. and 5.6x52R. The Optima drilling 12/76 (3") and 20/76 (3") in steel version accepts all insert barrel calibres up to 9.3x74R.

I. Scope mounts Scope mounts, carried out at the Krieghoff factory, will include sighting-in. On guns with more than one

barrel we guarantee a certain grouping of the barrels will be obtained. If scope mounts are fitted elsewhere an extra charge will be applied for sighting-in of the gun. Further, we cannot give any warranty for common point of impact accuracy on guns with multiple barrels. If the installation of the scope mount was not car-ried out by us we are not able to take any responsibility for the performance of grouping. Because of physical reasons, the point of impact (grouping of the barrels) on guns featuring multiple barrels can only be adjusted for one type of sight (rather open sight or scope). If nothing else was requested by the customer and the scope mount was done at the Krieghoff factory, we always sight-in guns featuring multiple barrels over the scope. If several scopes are being mounted, explicit information is required for which scope the grouping performance need to be obtained. If no information is being supplied, we will use the largest scope to ensure grouping accuracy.- The points mentioned above are also valid for insert barrels.

II. Model thermo stable If thermo stable models are ordered with cosmetic side ribs, we strongly recommended, for technical and

aesthetic reasons, that the scope mounting and sighting-in process is carried out at the Krieghoff factory.

III. Guarantee If scope installation is carried out by anyone other than Krieghoff and the barrels require subsequent reblue-

ing, all warranty regarding blueing and shooting accuracy will be void.

IV. Shooting accuracy The accuracy of the gun can only be guaranteed if the same type of ammunition is used as the gun was

sighted-in with. Therefore we recommend to acquire a sufficient stock of ammunition of the same loading used to sight-in your gun, especially if the gun has multiple rifled barrels. This applies to rifle cartridges as to shot gun slugs. In big bore double rifles semi jacketed bullets and full metal jacketed bullets are often being used side by side. Although this might be very useful, accuracy can only be guaranteed with one type of ammunition load. Test shots with a second load or even finding two loads that work together are only done on special request and have an additional time and ammunition charge.

V. Weight All specified weights, especially the total weights of weapons are to be understood as approximate infor-mation. Due to manufacturing and construction-related factors, as well as varying weights stem from the natural material of wood, there may be deviations. The weight data therefore only serves as a benchmark for better differentiation.
