Grand Prix de Paris 2018 2

The Grand Prix de Paris is : a unique international dance

competition and the largest audition in Europe, which

allows young professional dancers aged 16 to 26 years

to dance solo on stage in front of directors of companies

and choreographers of national and international renown.

Le Grand Prix de Paris allows candidates to compete in the

following styles:

• classical

• contemporary

• modern jazz

• urban (street, lock, pop, break, ragga, dancehall,

fusion)

A "giant casting" that gives company directors

and choreographers the opportunity to spot and

recruit the best dancers in the countries where the

preselections take place, and to bring together in

Paris the 40 best European dancers who compete

during the GALA of the Grand Prix de Paris which

takes place on Saturday 3rd of March 2018.

The GALA of the Grand Prix de Paris is also THE

annual meeting of directors of companies and

choreographers.

FACILITATING ENCOUNTERS BETWEEN TALENTS AND

PROFESSIONALS

The opportunity for company directors of the pre-selection jury

member to meet and discover local talent.

By pooling recruitment opportunities, bringing together directors

of companies and choreographers at the same time and place, we

reduce the costs of traveling and accommodating candidate dancers

and allow all candidates and even the less fortuner to show their

talent.
