    ImportantSafetyandHandlingInformation

    1. Do not bend, drop, crush, puncture, incinerate, or open multimedia projector. Do not use

    multimedia projector in rain or near washbasins, or other wet locations. Take care not to

    spill any food or liquid into multimedia projector. In case Multimedia projector gets wet,

    unplug all cables and turn multimedia projector off before cleaning, and allow it to dry

    thoroughly before turning it on again.

    2. Never attempt to repair multimedia projector yourself. Multimedia projector does not

    contain any user-serviceable parts, and the battery in multimedia projector is not

    user-replaceable, for further service information, please contact your local distributer ororiginal purchasing store/Vendor.

    3. Avoiding hearing damage or permanent hearing loss may occur if ear buds headphones

    are used at high volume. Set the volume to a safe level. You can adapt over time to a

    higher volume of sound that may sound normal but can be damaging to your hearing.

    If you experience ringing in your ears or muffled speech, please stop listening and have

    your hearing checked by doctor. The louder the volume, the less time is required before

    your hearing could be affected. Hearing experts suggest following notice to protect your

    hearing:

    (1) Limit the amount of time you use ear buds or headphones at high volume.

    (2) Avoid turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings.

    (3) A turn the volume down if you cannot hear people speaking near you.

    4. Use of headphones while operating a vehicle is not recommended and is illegal in some

    areas. Be careful and attentive while driving. Stop using projection and mind it disruptive

    or distracting while operating any type of vehicle or performing any other activity that

    requires your full attention.

    5. Never force a connector into a port. Check for obstructions on the port. Make sure that

    the connector matches the port and that you have positioned the connector correctly in

    relation to the port.

    6. Operate Multimedia projector in a place where the temperature is always between 0

    and 40 C (32 to 104 F). Multimedia projector play time might temporarily shorten in

    low-temperature conditions.

    7. When you are using multimedia projector or charging the battery, it is normal for it to get

    warm. Always allow adequate ventilation during usage and handle with care. The

    exterior of multimedia projector functions as a cooling surface that transfers heat from

    inside the unit to the cooler air outside.

    8. To clean Multimedia projector, please use a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Avoid

    getting moisture in openings. Do not use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol

    sprays, solvents, alcohol, ammonia, or abrasives to clean.

    3. Connect and Charge

    3-1 USB ConnectWhen MP120 is switched upwards in Projector Mode, you can enter USB Mode by

    connecting it to PC with Micro USB Y cable. Press Exit button to leave USBModeand

    return Main Menu.

    3-2 Charge the Battery

    To charge the battery, you can connect MP120 to PC with Micro USB Y cable, it will be

    charged automatically. Please refer to important note as below:

    1. For first time or no use for period of time charging, please charge MP120 for at least 8

    hours.

    2. Please use 2 USB ports of PC to charge MP120 with Micro USB Y cable.

    3. On average, it takes approximately 2 hours to fully charge the internal battery, the red

    indicator LED light turns off when charging is completed.

    4. A fully charged battery can provide 60 minutes for projector mode OR 4 hours for mp3

    mode play.

    5. When battery low, the white LED light will flash continuously until charging.

    4. MP3 Functions

    It supports audio files in WMA, WAV, MP3 file formats, press to select a file, and then

    press OK to play.

    5. Projector Functions

    In projector functions, there are five modes to be selected: Photo, Video, Music, Calendar

    andSettings Mode.

    5-1 Projector Mode - Photo

    In this mode, there are 3 modes to view your photos: Slideshow , Thumbnail and Browse

    Mode. Please select the desired mode in Settings Modefrom Main Menu.

    5-1.1 Slideshow Mode

    In this mode, selected photos will be displayed one by one automatically in a single screen.

    You can set up the slideshow duration, slideshow effects, and display ratio in Settings

    Modes Photo Setup. In this mode, it will also automatically play your music files from your

    microSD/microSDHC cards.

    5-1.2 Thumbnail Mode

    There are up to 9 photo files which can be shown on the left side of the screen under

    Thumbnail Mode. Information of the selected photo will be shown on the right side,

    including file name, resolution, size, date of modification, and time of modification. It also

    shows the photo location of the card, total number of location as shown in the illustration

    It supports video files in AVI and MOV formats. Please select desired file and press OK to

    After entering Photo Setup, you can find the setup list. Please refer to submenu button

    6. O-Media Video Converter

    O-Media is the most easy-to-use video converter for converting video files between various

    formats, with fast converting speed and excellent video quality. This powerful video

    converter application makes video conversion quick and easy.

    6-3 Program Installation

    Step 1

    Please refer to following method to download MP120 User Manual and O-Media video

    converter program from www.pretec.com.

    a. Technical SupportDownload Product Category Multimedia Choose a Model

    i-Joy MP120 Multimedia Projector SearchSelect your desired file to download

    b. ProductMultimedia i-Joy MP120 Multimedia ProjectorDownload Select your

    desired file to download

    Step 2

    Unzip the O-Media video converter.zip, and make sure there is Setup.exe file inside.

    Step 3

    Double click Setup.exe for installation, please select your language.

    Step 4

    Follow the setup wizard to complete O-Media video converter installation.

    6-4 Program Operation

    Step 1

    At first time, please select your language in Main Menu and click Access to access

    O-Media main setting menu.

    Step 2The main setting menu shows the information about video settings and help documents.

    Click the "Main Menu" to select the required language.

    Button Function Description

    Select supported source file from your computer

    To select required language

    Detail settings

    Select your destination of output

    Start / Stop encoding procedure

    Help document

    To exit O-Media

    Step 3

    Click the "Source File", and the file-dialog box will pop up. Please choose the source file

    you desired to convert.

    Step 4

    After selection, O-Media will show Video Size and Video Length. O-Media will automatically

    appoint the Target File file-name in the same path. If you want to change the file-name and

    path, please click "Target File" to re-appoint the file name or path.

    The "Options" window can modify encoding quality: High, Normal or Low. There is a small

    player display; you can check your source file and set start-time and end-time for converting

    part of source file you prefer.

    Confirm you settings

    Clear all marks

    Step 6

    When you finished all your settings, please click "Encode Now" to start the encoding

    process. O-Media will show the progress while encoding. If you want to stop encoding, just

    please click "Stop Now".
