With the Oland standard range of rectangular ducts and fittings, strong, rigid and airtight duct systems can be built quickly and economically.Both ducts and fittings are manufactured to order.

Ducts and fittings are manufactured in accordance with DS447 (ventilation standards), and are designed for a pressure or Vacuum of up to 1000Pa. ( 100mm vc).

The Oeland duct system is manufactured to tightness class B, but can be ordered and manufactured to tight-ness class C.

The width of the sheets in the table is applicable to a pressure of 1000 Pa under the assumption that duct sides are dia-gonally crossed or are made in such way that the largest side length is over 300mm..

Bearings:

The distance between supports depends on the ducts’ tight-ness and the total cross sections. Supports distance should be highest 2m. Finally expansion bolts can be subjected to permanent load of 200N and short term with 1000N pr. bolt.

The ST has a standard length of 100mm and is fitted with an OS strip in one end and a folded seam HF40 on the larger end. For length bigger than 100mm use type SS.

The fire damper type F60 is designed for fire protec-tion in ventilation systems.

The fire shutters are of the louvre type with self-lock-ing slats, made from galvanized steel plate.

The fire damper is fitted with a safety fuse calibrated for a melting point of 700C, but they can also be delivered with safety fuses for other temperatures on demand.

All fire dampers are equipped with 2 springs in order to secure a positive shut off, and they can be mounted both vertically and horizontally.

The JAL louver damper is designed for continuous regula-tion of the air flow through a ventilation system.It is air tight, but it is NOT gas tight.The dampers are designed to be attached to air conditio-ning units and as dampers in mixing chambers.The dampers are designed for a temperature range bet-ween -200C and + 1000C with a pressure difference of up to 400 Pa and 80% relative humidity.The max air velocity through the damper is 20 m/sec.

The JAL damper can be fitted to the duct by means of an OS20 flange. The fitting is done with C strip or mounting screws. The main body of the damper is made from un-treated aluminium.

The seals at the damper blades are made of a special rubber composition.The moving parts of the damper unit are outside the airstream.

Sound absorbers can be of several configurations:LD: Straight sound absorbers of the absorption type.LD/LDH: Angled sound absorbers of the absorption type.LBB: Straight sound absorbers for limited building space.

Description:The sound absorbers comprises a duct made from warm galvanized steel plate and a number of built-in baffles. The duct is made as type KA.To facilitate cleaning, the sound absorbers are fitted with an inspection hatch with snap locks for easy handling.

The sound level for the airflow velocity sound intensity should lie at least 7-10 db below the sound from the whole unit in the area where the sound absorber is placed.

The LD and the LH/LV types are sound absorbers of con-ventional type with baffles made from glass wool plates.

The LLD sound absorber is a type with high damping in the 250 Hz. octave band, and this is normal dimensio-ned. Moreover the damping of frequencies at 63, 125 and 500 Hz should be given priority over higher frequen-cies.

The LBB type is made especially for installations with limited space. This will give high damping in the lower octave bands and the damping element is placed at the largest side within the absorber.

ApplicationThe Oeland pressure monitors TK-1, TK-2, TK-3 and TK-4 is an automatic monitor series designed for control-ling over-/underpressure in ventilation systems and in industrial process air plants.If the pressure settings in the plant (in Pa) is not cor-rect, the monitor will give both a visual and an acoustic alarm signal.
