"An agile, entertaining, well written novel, is an excellent example of where the Spanish Fantasy must aim if it wants to keep up with the best foreign literature."

Los libros del replicante “The characters are fantastically drawn, with life for itselves. I highly recommend The dream of the dead, for it contains many ingredients that are combined so that the final result is more than satisfactory. Special mention to Perez de la Puente's pen. What a delight!"

Hechizo de libros “I am sure this novel will appear prominently in future lists of the best books published in 2013.”

Crónicas literarias “The most striking aspect of the novel is Virginia's writing skills, which are excellent. It's a flawless novel with unexpected plot twists that leave you with a face like that of the rabbit that, on a nightly road, is lit by one car's headlights: bowlegged. It takes you a while to recover.”

Donde acaba el infinito

In a kingdom on the verge of war, the fates of a future king and a slave seem to be inextricably

connected.

The Crown Prince of Novana, Danekal, tries to figure out who is responsible for the attempt that

almost costs his father’s life, the previous day to the signing of a treaty with a neighbouring

country’s Queen. At the same time, he has to deal with the nobles who await his father’s death to

seize the crown, with an invading horde and with his own internal ghosts.

Unaware of all this, Kal, a man enslaved due to his ability to channel an ancient magic called Shah,

struggles to free himself from the chains that subjugate him to the woman that obtains her power

from him: his Twin.

In spite of their huge differences, the future king and the slave will realize that there is a connection

between the two of them, and that this bond is deeper than what they could imagine.
