AMERICAN LEGENDS HONORED WITH CHRIS KYLE JEEPSThe Chris Kyle “The Legend” Jeeps by Complete Customs are more than just another Jeep build for McKinney, Texas specialist, Shaun Freilich.
It is a labor of love that gives him the chance to give back to the Foundation and family of the “American Sniper”.
“Chris Kyle is an American Legend, that is all you can say,” said Shaun. “Everyone knows the story, but we quickly got deeper into the story when a customer of ours - who is from Chris’ home town of Odessa (TX) came to us and spoke of commissioning a vehicle that could be used to raise awareness for the work the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation does with our military and first responders.
“We decided to do that with a 2015 GMC Yukon XL and as we got into that project, Chris’ wife Taya was introduced to us. It was only then that we started looking further into the legend of Chris Kyle and realized the connection that the military and general public have with Chris Kyle is far deeper than any of us could have imagined.
“When you’re talking tough, resilient American badasses - you’re talking Chris Kyle. And if you’re talking tough, resilient American trucks with a badass attitude - you’re talking a Jeep Wrangler.”
Freilich started floating the idea of the Chris Kyle Jeep with suppliers to his business and to some key Jeep dealers and soon enough, the idea became a reality.
“We got Taya’s buy-in on the project with the caveat that we wouldn’t proceed unless we had the support of some major suppliers.
“Since we have built several Wranglers for SEMA we have developed a relationship with a number of Jeep dealers and we mentioned the idea to a couple of them - the fight was immediately on to see who would own the first one!”
From the very beginning they knew they were onto something.
“It made sense for us right from the very start. The enthusiasm was right there and we had the chance to do some cool stuff as well.
“Kryptek - who are well known in the outdoor space and count Kyle as an ambassador - were on-board straight away with a world first Kryptek Kevlar Coating.
“Bowtech Archery - they supplied us with a Chris Kyle “The Legend” Bow for the vehicle, TrackingPoint with a rifle and Springfield Armory with a gun - plus a whole heap of equipment suppliers!
“Taya’s support team speak of ‘the spirit’ of the project - not in a religious sense - but in a sense that if it feels right - it will be right. All along the way it has felt right.”
The perfect place to launch the Chris Kyle “The Legend” Jeep Wranglers, was, of course, SEMA 2015 in Las Vegas.
Taya Kyle was on hand to unveil both versions on the Addictive Desert Designs and Monster Hooks stands respectively.
“Any projects that we have done in Chris’ honor or around the Foundation we’ve worked to partner with organizations that share our vision and deal in faith, honor and respect,” explained Taya Kyle. “We have to be on the same page and remember our aim. Chris’ goal was never to become a celebrity - he wanted to use his personal experiences to make a difference in the lives of others.
“All of the projects that we’re doing have that goal in mind - and it is about the quality of what we’re doing as well - it’s not just putting a logo on something, it has to have a meaning and help the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation assist veteran and first responder families re-connect through unique experiences.
“From the time we first had a discussion with Shaun, we knew Complete Customs was in it for the right reasons and they could produce a very special item that would be very popular with a lot of people - the proof is in what you see - they have achieved that and more.”
The Chris Kyle “The Legend” Jeep will be available for purchase through select Jeep dealers around the country or through Complete Customs LLC direct. The fully optioned version comes complete with gun rails, guns and the limited edition Bowtech Chris Kyle “The Legend” bow.

JEEP TO HONOR CHRIS KYLE LAUNCHED AT SEMATaya Kyle, the wife of American Sniper, Chris Kyle has today launched a special edition Jeep Wrangler in her husband’s honor at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
The Chris Kyle “The Legend” Jeep range has been developed by McKinney, Texas company, Complete Customs and will be available for sale through select Jeep Dealers in North America.
“Complete Customs came to us with this concept of producing a Jeep in Chris’ honor and when we heard the interest that being shown by project partners and the Jeep dealers, we were seriously amazed,” said Taya Kyle.
“The vehicle had to be a reflection of Chris’ love of the outdoors and allow us to raise awareness of the activities of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation with veteran and first responder families.”
The Chris Kyle “The Legend” Jeep has been built to be the ultimate outdoor recreation 4x4 and will look just as tough cruising the streets as in the great outdoors.
“This is more than just a project for the Complete Customs team - we’re bringing two American Legends together - Chris Kyle and the Jeep Wrangler - you can’t get much more American than that,” said Shaun Freilich, owner of Complete Cus-toms. “It is a labor of love for our team. As soon as Taya started talking to us, we knew there was a lot more to this story than what has been well documented.
“The Chris Kyle “The Legend” Jeeps give us the opportunity to produce a kickass custom 4x4 but also give back to the community through the work of the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation and what it is doing for the veteran and first responder community.
“Our supplier network, the Jeep dealers we’ve spoken to, indeed Taya and her team, along with all our staff and families are heavily invested and behind this deal. We’re also meeting with many more suppliers at SEMA to finalize the specifica-tions of the retail product.”
The two Chris Kyle “The Legend” Jeeps that were unveiled at SEMA will be used as show cars and then auctioned off early next year - with the funds raised from the Blue version going direct to the Foundation and the Brown version going to assist Taya and her family.
“There are a number of Jeep dealers that will be selling the Chris Kyle Jeeps to the public, but we ask that if you are inter-ested in buying one that you approach your local Jeep dealer to contact us,” Mr. Freilich concluded.

TAYA KYLE LAUNCHES MEMORIAL JEEPTaya Kyle, the wife of the American Sniper, Chris Kyle has launched a Jeep that will be available to the public at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
Ms. Kyle took the wraps off the custom Jeep that has been built by Texas company, Complete Customs.
The memorial options include a world first Kryptek Kevlar coating with a unique pattern developed by outdoor equip-ment specialists - Kryptek, bespoke Chris Kyle-inspired interior and a beefed up suspension and tyre package. The fully optioned version includes a Bowtech Archery “The Legend” Bow and a TrackingPoint rifle, complete with gun rails for the ultimate outdoors vehicle.
“To partner with Complete Customs to build such a tribute vehicle to Chris is amazing,” said Taya Kyle. “We’re so thankful for this opportunity, but also to the Jeep dealers that have jumped on board and want to bring this to their customers.
“Chris loved his trucks and getting into the outdoors and I think he would be real proud of this.”
Funds raised will go to Kyle’s family as well as towards the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, which is working with service members and first responders to provide experiences for them to re-connect with their families.
A number of Jeep Dealers have committed to adding the Chris Kyle “The Legend” Jeep to their product range.
TEXAS CUSTOM OUTFIT HONORS CHRIS KYLEComplete Customs has honored the memory of American Sniper, Chris Kyle with the unveil of two Chris Kyle “The Leg-end” Jeeps at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week.
The McKinney, TX based company is the preferred custom builder to many of Texas’ best known sports stars and celebri-ties, but this was ‘a labor of love’.
“I was born and raised in Odessa, which is where Chris grew up and when the idea came to do these Jeeps, it made so much sense to me and our team,” said Complete Customs owner, Shaun Freilich.
“We discussed it with Chris’ wife Taya, some connections within the Jeep dealer network and our suppliers and unani-mously, it looked like a positive idea.”
The SEMA Jeeps will be auctioned with benefits going to the family and the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation, which was es-tablished in Chris’ honor to assist veteran and first responder families to reconnect post service.
Kyle, who shot to prominence in the American Sniper book and movie was a truck fan, but also enjoyed taking his wife and young family hunting in the woods.
“The Chris Kyle ‘The Legend’ Jeeps are as badass on the road as they are in the woods thanks to the world first Kryptek Kevlar coating,” added Freilich. “The ultimate version has gun rails, a bow rail, the Chris Kyle Bowtech Bow and a rifle.”
The Chris Kyle “The Legend” Jeeps are on display at the Addictive Desert Designs and Monster Hooks stands.

ABOUT CHRIS KYLEChief Petty Officer Chris Kyle was the American Navy’s most prolific Sniper, but he repeatedly said he would rather be known for the number of lives he saved.
Through his four tours of Iraq, he was revered by his fellow military members and feared by the enemy, his marksmanship immortalized in the New York Times best-selling book, American Sniper and the motion picture of the same name.
Using their own post-war experiences, when he completed his fourth and final tour, Chris and his wife Taya decided to use and share their experiences in an effort to help others.
The publication of American Sniper assisted in opening up the conversation among military families about PTSD and dealing with its, at times, devastating impact.
Tragically, while helping a former military member in February 2013, Chris had a gun turned on both him and good friend Chad Littlefield, claiming their lives, leaving both Taya and Chad’s wife with young children.
The Chris Kyle Frog Foundation was launched to continue the work Chris started and maintain his legacy among veteran and first responder families.
In 2015, a hospital in Anchorage, Alaska focused on veteran assistance was named in his honor and in 2016 - a consorti-um aims to unveil a Memorial Plaza in his home town of Odessa, Texas.
Chris Kyle also wrote (in conjunction with Jim deFelice) American Gun - a work that chronicles the history of the United States in 10 firearms.

Taya and a dedicated team are ensuring Chris’ vision, desire and legacy to the country he served carries on now and into the future.
