Woodlands Spa

Tour – Kentuck Knob and Fallingwater

Hours – 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Duration – 5 hours Discover the genius of Architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Kentuck Knob, a Frank Lloyd Wright signature design, both dramatic and serene situated just below the crest of the hill where “No house should ever be on a hill or on anything. It should be of the hill. Belonging to it. Hill and house should live together each other happier for the other.” Enjoy lunch in the quaint town of Ohiopyle and discover the “flavor” of the area. Then, on to Fallingwater, another Frank Lloyd Wright design – “the most unique home in the world” and considered “one of the greatest architectural triumphs of the 20th century.” Built between 1936 and 1939 stretching over a 30’ waterfall, it doesn’t appear to stand on solid ground. Instantly famous, today is a National Historical Landmark. Tour departs from Nemacolin Front Lobby promptly at 9:30 a.m.

Championship Golf at Mystic Rock

9:00 a.m. First Tee Time As one of the country’s finest golf courses, high atop the Pennsylvania Allegheny Mountains, Mystic Rock spans acres of scenic highlands, offering championship golf in a spectacular setting. Former home of the 84 Lumber Classic, a PGA Tour event, Mystic Rock has hosted some of the world’s top professional golfers, including Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh. A dream of Founder, Joseph Hardy, and vision of design master, Pete Dye, Mystic Rock is “an experience unlike any other”.




40’ Fatbird Canopy Tour

Hours – 10:00 a.m. | 2:00 p.m. Duration – 90 minutes An elevated adventure ropes course, the Fatbird canopy tour offers exciting elements 40’ off the ground – a Burma bridge, stationary log, swinging log and more. Plus, a zip down the 3,000’ Fatbird SuperFlyer is included! Located at the Adventure Center. Shuttle departs from Nemacolin Front Lobby 30 minutes prior to scheduled start time.

Adventure Center Challenge

Hours – 12:30 p.m. Duration – 90 minutes Zip line over 3,000’ on the Fatbird SuperFlyer dueling zip lines at speeds of up to 60 mph high above the slopes at Mystic Mountain. After an exhilarating zip run, test yourself on the 20’ elevated ropes course which features nine obstacles, including a 250’ classic zip line, Leap of Faith, Walk the Plank, X-Factor, The Weave, Tight Rope and more. And, if that isn’t enough, add a Quick Jump 50’ thrilling free fall and test your skills on the 50’ Climbing Wall. Located at the Adventure Center. Combat Paintball

Hours – 9:30 a.m. Duration – 2 hours Enter the wooded hills of Mystic Mountain and enjoy a high-thrills, high-energy game of Combat Paintball. Includes 200 rounds of paint. Protective gear and equipment provided. Paint may stain clothing; old clothes and running-style shoes recommended. Located at the Adventure Center. Shuttle departs from Nemacolin Front Lobby 30 minutes prior to scheduled start time.

Jeep® Off-Road Driving Academy

Hours – 9:00 a.m. | 12:30 p.m. Duration – 90 minutes Nemacolin’s Jeep® Off-Road Driving Academy Instructional Series will have you and friends hitting the trails . . . behind the wheel! Four passengers take to the course as an experienced instructor guides you through the course and familiarizes you with a featured Jeep® Rubicon. After a tutorial, each passenger will have a chance to drive portions of 20 miles of rugged trails and terrain. Each vehicle can accommodate four guest and one instructor. Must have a valid driver’s license. Located at the Adventure Center. Shuttle departs from Nemacolin Front Lobby 30 minutes prior to scheduled start time.




Sporting Clays at The Shooting Academy

Hours – 9:00 a.m. | 1:00 p.m. The Nemacolin Field Club’s 140-acre complex houses one of the nation’s top sporting clay facilities in the Eastern U.S. Sporting clay targets are projected to imitate wild game birds and are thrown at a variety of angles, heights and distances. Two courses feature two five-stands and a wobble trap field, along with 35 sporting clay stations laid out over Pennsylvania’s Laurel Highlands tailored to challenge everyone from the most seasoned wing shooter to the novice shooter. Shooting package includes 100 targets, ammo, gun, safety equipment and a Shooting Academy Guide. A waiver of liability is required. Consumption of alcoholic beverages prior to shooting is prohibited. Shuttle departs from Nemacolin Front Lobby 30 minutes prior to scheduled start time.

Archery and Sporting Clays

Hours – 11:00 a.m. Once the sport of royalty, Archery is the ultimate test of accuracy and aim. The ultimate test of skill when combined with Sporting Clays at the Shooting Academy. Shooting package includes 50 targets, ammo, gun, safety equipment and a Shooting Academy Guide. A waiver of liability is required. Consumption of alcoholic beverages prior to shooting is prohibited. Shuttle departs from Nemacolin Front Lobby 30 minutes prior to scheduled start time.

Backwoods Trail Rides

Hours – 10:00 am | 1:00 pm Duration – 45 minutes Tour the scenic Laurel Highlands the way the first settlers did . . . on horseback. Rides begin at the Wildlife Adventure Center where you may also walk through the Nemacolin Nursery. See their collection of exotic and domestic animals and interact with their kinkajou, fennec foxes, porcupine, sloth, alligator, tortoise and more.

Whitewater Rafting at Ohiopyle State Park

Hours – 9:00 a.m. | 11:00 a.m. Duration – 4 hours Lower Yough fully-guided whitewater rafting is perfect for inexperienced to experienced rafters. Discover 7.5 miles of class III-IV intermediate white water. Expert guides teach paddle techniques, steer the raft and share local stories while navigating the best lines through the rapids. Paddles, life jackets and helmets provided. Wear appropriate water apparel . . . you will get wet! Sunscreen, “cheap” sunglasses and a ball cap or visor to wear under your helmet, closed-toe water shoes suggested. Leave valuables at the hotel. Bring a towel and change of clothes, if desired.
