Standard Fibrillated- Due to manufacturing techniques was found to
be brittle over time- Splitting ensues/hardening of field
Decision on Yarn Type/Grass
Monofilament- Predominant in recent years- Quality materials and shape,
outperformed standard fibrillated- Many different shapes tried- Natural realistic, upright fibres- Under high usage tendency to split- Tuft bind can be an issue- Flat soled shoes crush fibre/compact
