The I-75 corridor near the site carries approximately 150,000 vehicles per day. In this section, I-75 curves towards the site and would allow for northbound motorists to have approximately a half-mile of site visibility, and southbound motorists to have approximately one mile of site visibility.

This prominent landmark will serve as the gateway to the Uptown Innovation Corridor at the new I-71/MLK interchange. The Uptown Gateway’s unique location is situated among Cincinnati’s premier medical, bioscience, research and educational institutions and employers.Phase 1a of the project to be developed by Terrex LLC will cost $185 million and consist of a hotel, two office buildings and a large, public parking garage. The 150-room hotel will be a Homewood Suites by Hilton. One office building will be the University of Cincinnati Digital Futures building. The other will be a speculative office building. Those are expected to create or retain 1,080 permanent, full-time jobs with a $48.6 million payroll. The garage will be a 1,300-1,500-space underground structure.

The project, called the Node, will start with 130,000 square feet of research/office space, a 160-room class A hotel, 180 multifamily residential units and up to 10,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space. The development will sit above a parking garage, with an open gathering space for community programming. Total investment for phase I is expected to be about $110 million.

FC Cincinnati $250+ Million West End Stadium Development In April 2018, FC Cincinnati completed negotiations with the City of Cincinnati and various municipal agencies to build a state-of-the-art, $250+ million soccer-specific stadium in the West End neighborhood of Cincinnati.

The estimated construction cost for the project is just less than $29 million with a total estimated project cost of $40 million.

Preconstruction services are starting in June 2019, with construction stage beginning in September 2020. Substantial completion of work will be June 2022. All construction manager services will be completed in December 2022.

The University of Cincinnati is planning $40 million renovation and expansion of Lindner Hall into the new home of the UC College of Law.
